Well, guys. It seems we have a new combo item.
The "spirit" So far I as I looked through the books, there's only fire spirit 1(which can also be found in village.)
It has the description 100% Enemy dies Fire
I don't get it at all. Maybe someone willing to test it out?

I'm not quite sure what it does...

danball.wikia.com/wiki/SpiritIt seems it has been updated to indicate that a type of attack is "summoned" to kill an enemy, presumably instantly, with a certain probability with every non-last enemy killed...

It is an incredibly awesome item which kills enemies in one hit. 100% kill chance, apart from with bosses. Level 2 is similar, yet with only a 10% chance, while a large explosion occurs which leaves a wide ring of residue. Level 3 is 30% block rate. Level 4 is 40% block rate.
This is the best compo in the game for damage, as it can kill every enemy but for bosses in a single hit. So, if you add level 1 to a laser gun with a guide's card 4, it can kill all enemies in front of you in one shot. EDIT: Wait, it seems that enemies seem to be on a certain amount or percentage of health. It may only have effect on those who have less health than you...

It seems to cause all (100%) enemies to sort of explode when killed. I imagine this fire may damage adjacent enemies. Or maybe it just looks cool XD; it's only 4000 gold afterall...

What about pyramid arrow correction? Anyone find out whats new about it?

It means the arrow does phisical and poison damage as well as the clous. The fire spirit 2 really works if you got four.

Now, a third spirit would, logically be 1% chance, 85 clouds at 180-216 AT for 4 seconds with a larger radius than the second spirit. I will edit this to put the four tommorow. I'll try to build j-curve and exponential scales for pattern deductions next time.
Edit: A fourth spirit, according to calculation, would be 0.1% chance, 453 clouds at 1080-1296 AT for 5 seconds for a total of a possible damage of 2,935,440 AT! That is assuming you get a 1 in 1000 chance power to hit all 453 of it's "bullets" on a single target. Can you say "No more Pyramid Boss"?

I find the spirit not extremelt useful, as the fire residue does not move, it often will not hit other enemies, which your characters will swim to them, leaving the fire residue behind.

What would ice spirit / poison spirit / iron spirit do? Normal effects, or anything special?

I like using it to form a kill zone. Works best at choke points.

Well, likely there will be Freeze spirit and Poison Spirit with specific damage and duration. Thunder is likely for a very high damage one, but I doubt there will be iron. Notice NINE compo slots for spirits. There SHOULD be 8 spirits, and one empty spot. I assume that, of course. Now, other likely ones are Explosion spirit, Thorn Spirit, Ice Spirit, and Light spirit.

Wait, wait, do you know if giude card works with the fire spirit, it should as it will thrah the enemy so badly. What about rubies as well.

Hmm, spirit three seems to be 85 clouds, 166-180 AT , for five seconds. Sorry for previous inaccurate figures. Kudos to izacque for some exponent graphings.

A third fire spirit level.

There is no spirit three, is there? And guide cards don't work with spirits.

Have spirit 1 and spirit 2, that way you always do something. It doesn't work with freezing though, I tried a bit and they go outwards wheras all the nenemy is inwards. GRRR

It's because they insta-kill everything?

wow that's cheap

|
Post by endy123 on Apr 27, 2011 1:21:41 GMT
they don't insta kill, they just set up like a free mine when your enemies die.
whenever you have a spot you can coral enemies into a small area it really shines. If your enemies are spread out though it doesn't count for much.

Not good if you have a freezing team, it stops them from getting hit. Doh.
