I just think the old one looks much more textured. The new one is just some blurry 1s and 0s on a plain background, and the old one is a Matrix reference. I have to agree. I recall making an argument in favor of the old Haxor Badge when someone else, I think the rebel scum, tried to challenge with a redesign. Be it as it may, I much prefer the old one to the challenging one. The old one seems more professionally done, with no offense intended. Also, after going through the entire Badge Ideas thread, I came across a post by Rock arguing how his 30 Badge design fit with the rest of Swearingworth's number badges, arguing how the barely visible "5" represented a user just coming out of newness and becoming known, a polished but plain "10" representing how the user is now known, polished but not quite...I forget the connection to the plainness of the badge, and how the chaotic activity (the explosions, he called it) in the background of the 20 Badge represented how the user had an "impact" on the forum. Anyhow, I think Rock's metaphor behind the 10 Badge was a very good one, but this new badge takes away from that meaning. As a result of that, I am for the old 10 Badge and against the new 10 Badge. EDIT: Yes, I believe that you may now start a separate challenge thread for the Programmer Badge...

You should take those polls down: This isn't a vote thread. I am for both old ones. The polls are completely illegitimate until you get at least two solid nominations (that aren't from you) for the new badge, starting now.

I thought he was using them to determine how many nominations he had? I didn't see him continuing with those tables once I saw he had two legitimate nominations: one from The Guilty Party and one from AnonymousPerson5... I like the HAXOR badge (new one), however I agree with Qwerty's point of it looking like a cutout. Possibly have a noticeable but not dominant border? New ten badge is difficult to see text on. Plus, each number has its own symbolism, really. Vote old 10 badge and new haxor badge

I vote for all old badges. Just because you just got your hands on a new program doesn't mean you're automatically a great artiste.

I like the old 10 badge because it looks simple and clean. Also, I like the old Haxor badge because it looks cool with the fading effect.

Alright, we can take discussion about the old haxor badge to its respective poll thread. Are there two nominations for the new 10 badge?
