For those of you who have wanted to try Minecraft Beta, but not wanting to pay $20 or get it through illegal means, can now play the free minecraft demo (located Here). The demo caontains the full game, however after 90 minutes of playtime your world will become locked out and you will have to either buy the full game or start a new save file to continue playing. I think this is a great opportunity for many who are skeptical on this wonderful game to go out and (legally) try it for themselves!

hey, that's a pretty good idea. classic is completely different than beta, so it's nice there is a way to play it without that.
i wonder though, is there a demo for other operating systems ?

I don't get the joke. If you're drunk or buzzed, you mean? If that's a joke, it was 3/10. I could laugh if I decided to. So, does that mean it doesn't work for other operating systems? Anyways, wouldn't it be better to just play a free version of single player? I mean, I think it's pirated though...

"A free version of single player" = piracy = (to many people) immoral and (in many countries) illegal. People previously considered piracy of Minecraft somewhat moral for trying it out and seeing if you like it. Now there is no excuse except being extremely cheap.

It says right on the top of the message that you can usually fix it by updating your drivers. If you haven't had a Microsoft Software Update in a while, you should let it update your computer. That fixed that problem for a relative of mine...
