yeah let's turn a thread about some less-than-ideal staff members into a "Wah! he troll me!" "Wah! he get me in trouble for trolling!" hissy fit...

I find Kuraikiba's problem and Nmagane's problem far distinct from each other. Kuraikiba never trolled in my opinion, simply acted racist and sometimes immature. Not against any specific person in particular. Nmagane was trollig and egging Rock on. Ergo, I vote warning bar restoration.
And as well, I'm confused as to why Artifact's karma got so low. I never thought a ragequit was worthy of nine smites. Just as well, he got a purple heart badge, so someone must have spamsmited, and I really don't think it'd be very much people...

Well, he did apologize, isn't telling him to get out a little harsh? Where the fuck did he apologize.

Please, it's probably the 10th time he's done it. His words mean nothing, I already told him it isn't happening.

I was obviously heating up when I stated what needed stated, so I decided to take a 48 hour break from the forum and its chat. I think I have a relatively clearer head now.
The reason I zeroed Nmagane's warning was because I thought that all 10% came from that one warning Rock gave. Had there have been multiple warnings listed, with the percentages for each one listed, then I would only have removed the portion of the percentage that corresponded to the "triggered" warning. I figured that, if it was established that a "triggered" warning would not be permissible (as it obviously was when I acted slowly to ban Zevulon), then that warning would apply regardless of the punishment in question. As such, I considered Rock's "triggered" warning to be a hypocritical move that was null and void, especially since he was one of the members who voted against allowing my "triggered" banning. He restored it, and so I took it away again and planned to demote him. At that point (that is, before demoting), I questioned myself and decided I needed to leave so that I could return with a fresh perspective. Here I am now.
With a clearer mind, I still believe that the portion of the warning percentage that corresponded to the "triggered" warning should be removed while all previous warnings be kept intact (and of course, all warning notes ever recorded be kept, regardless of whether they were overturned or not, as it should be for all users and staff). With a clearer mind, I am not so eager to wish for Rock's demotion, but I do extremely highly recommend that he take the same 48 hour break from the forum that I took, or at the very least a 24 hour break from the forum...

Veers, I never gave a triggered warning. He was trolling me for a few days at that point, and after being very lenient about punishment, I snapped and gave him a warning, for a very recent cause (hours-1 day) and he deserves that warning. I mean, I'm not the only one who sees his posts to me, right?

If that's not a "triggered" warning, then I didn't make a "triggered" ban. I would be very willing to let you warn Nmagane for the continued trolling, which he has done without a doubt, except that, quite frankly, I don't like a bunch of users saying I can't do something and then have one of those users proceed to do the same thing.

Veers, people got upset over what you did because it was a ban. I gave a little 10% warning for excessive trolling. And you even admit that he deserves the warning! It can't be called triggered if it's been going on for weeks. What you're doing is showing him that he can do whatever he wants without consequence.

It can't be called triggered if it's been going on for weeks. By that same argument, my banning of Zevulon can't be called triggered: his various offenses had been going on for weeks. Rock, please read the spoiler. Vertigo, please do not read the spoiler or attempt to understand how it relates to Portal 2. You know, taking a break from the forum taught me a valuable lesson. The best solution to a problem is often the easiest one. And correcting you is hard. So you know what? You win. Just go.
*Laughs softly*
It's been fun. Don't argue with me about this again...

Then don't call it triggered! Veers, this is NOT a triggered offense! Am I just not allowed to warn him for trolling me literally two hours ago!?

If my banning of Zevulon wasn't triggered, and it was undone simply on account that it was triggered, then the punishment may be redone and Zevulon may be banned.
Hold on as I take care of that now. As for Nmagane, the spoiler was just another way of saying "go ahead and reinstate the warning"...
