The only stuff you couldn't really hand draw instead. normally I just used Glass and it worked fine. easy to shatter with lightning and then blow off with wind. I like being able to swap out elements, I'd just rather have something cooler to play with instead. Stick Ranger gets the Heavenly Host, PG gets Pen-paint  |

Hey, it's useful. Even if it sucks, it had to come SOMETIME, and Ha55ii won't do much more than change or add one thing per update.

There seems to be some sort of invisible rule that says an update cannot change how any uploads work.
Not even the piddly widdly ones that take about five seconds to put together...
NOT EVEN VALCONOS.
Well, at least the update will keep nagging requests for this sorta thing away...

That's what happened on the Powder Toy. It ruined a ton of saves by clogging vents and such and carry the heat and igniting flammable objects that shouldn't have been burned.
And I didn't even think of the glass thing. That will be very useful. |

Nope. C-4 and fuse don't even burn over a pixel gap. Only thing that does that is wood. Torching wood, however, IS a proximity thing.

You know, if he made paint so that it changed the appearance but not the actual element, it wouldn't break any uploads, it would just permit a whole category of new uploads. That is, unless it records the save file by pen stroke and not by actual dot position, in which case every upload that used pen-paint would fail.
Or, if he did that, he could just make a new pen setting for it...

I just like having new elements to play with.
Last time we got Cloud which has tons of nifty abilities, I was hoping for something along the same lines.
what would be really great would be a natural cloud producing reaction, then from there we would have tons of controllable cloning options.

The way I see it, if they do, you can have fun making something with them. I just like putting random elements in groups and then changing one in the middle to see how it reacts to the others. Just fun, you know? |
