Seeing as I've been insulted no less than four times by no less than three people over the last two days, and called out twice by one person (you know who you are), I've decided to give in. They all said one thing: I suck at being an admin. Very well. Die a hero or live long enough to become the villain, I suppose. Had I had to leave right after the coup I would probably still be respected as forum history.
The point is that if people want to treat me like I'm Listo then the last thing I want to be is remembered as a Listo. I'm giving those people that think I'm a horrible administrator a chance to kick me out and replace me with their new chosen idol until they start to hate that person as well and kick them out, ad infinitum.
Vote on my adminship. Only votes by active posters count (no Chronologik coming in with his one-admin system). If the "fire that bastard" side gets five votes or more (subtracting votes that want to keep me in place), I'll demote myself to global mod. I am keeping the chat, though. I do insist on that.
I know this message is harsh and completely biased, but let me summarize: If people no longer want me to be their admin, I will respect the wishes of the forum.

I say Tempy is fully equipped to be an admin. I vote you stay.

I would prefer to stay neutral on this matter. On one side, I would not like for you to leave in an effort to become respected by these users who dislike you. On the other, I feel that you are overcompensating for the situation.

Let this be the negative third vote to kick you out.
You actually pull your weight, and most times, significantly more than just your own weight. We agree on many things, but you're certainly no yesman and you don't fear having your opinion heard. Your legions of nonjas have a significant cultural tie to the forum, too. You are one of the few rational people on the forum (except for when you border upon exploding, which only happens on semi-rare cases in spite of stressors occurring commonly). You are a memorable and indispensable part of the forum...

Not leave, no. I wouldn't do that. Just be demoted and work as a lower staff member, albeit with chat ownership.
Yay, -3. Confidence definitely improved.

qwerty occasionally takes things way too personally and has a tendency to bring everything to the table when he disagrees with somebody, even if it's a minor disagreement that doesn't much matter. But qwerty leaving isn't at all the way to solve the problem. Qwerty's got lots of admin experience. It's be a shame to lose him. I think that instead he should focus on mending his flaws instead of quitting because of them.

I give my vote of confidence. Ergo, I want Temp to stay. Sure, he overreacts. But at least he admits it. I mean, at least he isn't delusional, and at least he realizes that he, like all humans, has flaws. However, the presence of flaws is insufficient to kick him from his place as admin, one he very well deserves and has earned. Let's not forget, as well, his integral role in restoring the forums from the Lagstate.

HOW COULD SOMEONE SAY SUCH A THING THAT IS JUST HIS PERSONALITY I VOTE QWERTY STAYS
Nononono, Kuraikiba, Elmach, Codnchips67, General Veers, Owned by Glove, V.I.R.O.S., and I voted Qwerty stays.
That's -7 now.

Why not make it -8? I completely support Qwerty staying as an admin.

Okay, if this reaches -11, it should be stopped. We have about thirty active users, and to make things work in the favor of those who wish to oust temp, at worst, would have to be 16 votes to get it to +5 from -11.

It can only be done if Temporarily9 is willing to change, which apparently has yet to be promised.

So -9 is the current status quo. Meaning, if two people didn't vote, all active users would need to vote against Temp. Doesn't look that good for them.

Of course, the people that DO oppose me (including MF, who apparently thinks I'm Hitler's incarnation when it comes to deceit) don't seem to be posting here for some reason. Odd. If you want me out, state it publicly and be done with it.

I recast my vote! It's always been obvious that Qwerty really cares about this forum! He's stayed active as a pretty stable admin and doesn't shove his power in our faces.
-11!

Okay, so I read the OP but not most of the posts, so i'm not sure what the decision currently stands at, but I know this; I refuse to offer a vote. I abstain, and remain completely neutral.
Yeah, look, i'm not the happiest about some of the ways Qwerty does stuff, or some of the stuff Qwerty does. But the fact of the matter is he IS an effective and moderately-liked administraitor, and he gets things done. He's hands down one of the most qualified people on the forum, and this is certainly proved through his veteranism.
If people want to kick him out, thats fine. If people want him to stay, thats also fine. But i'm given the impression that people are waiting for me to offer an opinion, and that the matter might hinge on my decision. I'm not going to be known as the guy who X and Y and Z, for better or worse. I know i'm certainly one of the driving factors behind Qwerty calling for this vote, and it all started from me freely giving my opinion, and hold that, from that point forward, Qwerty has taken what i've said to heart and overreacted. I didn't want to push for his removal from service then, and i'm not going to stand on either side of this very delicate line now.
