1. You couldn't boss rush anymore? 2. You lost all your files? 3. You couldn't apply compo items to your weapons anymore? 4. Stick Ranger stopped updating? 5. If you lost a level every time you died?
1. Maybe 2. Temporarily quit, but then come back. 3. Probably Not 4. Definitely Yes. 5. Maybe

1.No 2.Yeah. I'd kinda rage-quit. 3.Yeah. That's the big thing. Without compos, your weapons become weak. 4. Nah, SR is great already. 5. Levels are a breeze if your a high level.

1. No 2. I'd rage for awhile, then come back, so not really 3. Yes 4. Maybe 5. No, this seems BETTER, considering there's no penalty upon death.

Providing I'm motivated enough to start playing Stick Ranger again in the first place, I wouldn't quit under any of those circumstances except the third.

1.) Would I quit if I couldn't boss rush anymore? If I kept track of the number of times I rushed to the boss, I would be able to count them with five digits, and by "digits" I mean "fingers."
2.) Would I quit if I lost my save files? In a sense, I already have. It's not quite that I lost my files, but that I had to abandon them when I went from my old laptop to my not-quite-so-old touchscreen laptop-tablet convertible. I think I have a save on this computer (i.e. the laptop-tablet convertible), but I haven't played it for quite a while and now Beach and Pyramid are the furthest I have gone.
3.) Would I quit if I couldn't apply compo items to any weapons? I'm convinced that the later levels assume that one will use compo weapons and thus would be unbeatable without them; as such, I likely would quit.
4.) Would I quit if Stick Ranger stopped updating? Almost certainly, yes.
5.) Would I quit if all my rangers lost a level every time any of them died? Possibly. Would I quit if all my rangers lost a level every time I got a game over? No...

The last one sounds like a GOOD idea because nothing happens to you when you get a Game Over. It makes you have a reason to try harder.

Sometimes if I can't beat a stage, I just keep trying over and over again and eventually I beat it. Doing that last idea would eliminate those cheap strategies.

1. You couldn't boss rush anymore? Nope. Not enough of a reason to quit, and I think nobody would because of that. 2. You lost all your files? Let's say that happened to me today. 3. You couldn't apply compo items to your weapons anymore? That would be even more challenging, and even less trouble for me as I wouldn't need to find those goddamned compos.
4. Stick Ranger stopped updating? Now I think I would... It gets boring after a while without updates =\ 5. If you lost a level every time you died? Nah, I like challenges. Would make everything even more difficult, perhaps It would make me play it even more.
Also, Alpha, when you're low on money, a game over is hell.

Actually, no boss rushing would be pretty frustrating, as it would take forever to get those compos.

Compos are for noobs. Real men just use basic snipers and have fast reflexes.

No to all of them, but I might not play it so much for things like losing a level every time one ranger died. I don't play it that frequently anyway, I would probably come back to it eventually.

Though this thread is a bit old it is still on the first page. Hopefully no one will mind if I post on it.
1. You couldn't boss rush anymore? I wouldn't mind though it would be slightly annoying. I wouldn't mind because the rareness of the items will be the same for everyone on VS mode.
2. You lost all your files? I start over once in a while just to keep in touch with the newbie side of the game. Having your lv60+ character doing Grassland isn't the same as the player who is asking for help on his lv7 character.
3. You couldn't apply compo items to your weapons anymore? I will be fine with this as VS mode will have to deal with the same. Kinda dumb things down a little but there always party order, party members, stats and weapon choices.
4. Stick Ranger stopped updating? Would make team building on VS mode easier but this would be a bitter sweet moment. I will accept if this happen but I wish the game will keep on going.
5. If you lost a level every time you died? Would annoy me greatly but may prove beneficial to get into lower ranks of VS Mode though SP removable (or lack of) may case a problem.
Generally anything rational or even slightly irrational can't get me to quit but if somewhere were to happen like P2P only weapons then I shall leave and never look back.
