Poor Colossus. He is truly a fine example of a tragic character.

It's a generic troll-esque response meaning "too long; didn't read."
Anyways, that almost seems like a perversion of Don Quixote de la Mancha. A person goes crazy, thinking he's something that he isn't. He goes around while thinking that he's different from what he really is and tries doing stuff. Everything always fails in his face and he always gets injured. He doesn't accept that he failed until the very end...

Well, yeah, except the Don's intentions were good (he thought he was a knight) and he was closer to insane than he was egotastic.

Ah yes, I forgot to point out the...darn, I like Don Quixote, so I can't use the Light Side - Dark Side comparison. Let's try it again.
Ah, yes, I forgot to point out how one actually acts saintly in his insanity while the other acts ironically as a Narcissistic ignoramus in his insanity. I should know, because after all, I did read (an English translation from Harvard of) El hidalgo ingenioso Don Quixote de la Mancha. Well, at least I said "perversion of" to make implicit the above comparison...
