Heroes are normal people like you and me, Heroes aren’t Ironman and Superman, They can’t lift cars or shoot lasers from their eyes, Heroes blend in with us, in the streets and on the bus, They go un-seen and un-recognized.
They help us on our way to work, And pick up the things that we dropped, They can make us laugh! Or make us cry, Real heroes seek nothing in return, Heroes are on the front lines everyday, Be it at home or fighting a war away.
Sometimes they win, Sometimes they lose, They helped people who needed it most, It’s un-certain if their deeds will be recognized, Or even seen.
But there’s one thing they all should know, People everywhere are affected by what you do, And it’s certain that all your deeds will be remembered by me…
