Enjoy the new weapons. Mach Claw Thunder Blade (This sword accepts Bullet's Card! Creates 30 thunderbolts at the same position) Sept Shot Inferno Orb (throws 7 flames at the same direction, unaffected by gravity. Looks awesome at 30 DEX+ Quick's Card) Inferno Staff (behaves like the High Light Staff but the bullet deals damage constantly) Scattergun (improved Remington, 9 bullets, projectiles bounce off terrain) Iron Flail Long Chakram

I tried Thunder Blade + Bullet's Card 4 + Topaz with my 50MAG+70STR Gladiator and it killed the Pyramid Boss faster than with Flame Sabel + Ruby + Garnet. I soloed it down in a minute for the Flame Sabel, but only used 40s for the Thunder Blade. That's just awesome.

Inferno is pretty good. Would Bullet's Card and Quick's card be the best combo for it?

It's not a new stage...
The Scattergun is pretty cool for groups of flying enemies but not much else. The Inferno and Thunder Blade are by far the best additions in my opinion.

Inferno is pretty good. Would Bullet's Card and Quick's card be the best combo for it? I think so. But don't use Inferno if the Magician has too much STR. The flames can't reach the enemies even with a Garnet 4. BTW, Thunder Blade is really great while cheap to use (30MAG). So do your best to get through the stages!

Quick's Card would be alright for it, but it seeing as it still wouldn't fire that fast I would try a Jewel.

I don't think inferno will suit my mage, for they will have a range of 150 with them, I don't think it can hit anything.
I'm definitely getting a sept shot for my snipers as a back-up, taking place of the quint shot
EDIT: I think Inferno would work the best if they have an initial range of 45. Because they can hit better, but won't take too much damage if you have a boxer or gladiator.

The next weapons update might bring the Ice Blade for the Gladiators, as well as the higher level Rifle for Gunners.
If it does, VS mode will change a lot.

If you add enough DEX to a Gunner, can it reach 5-10 on all its weapons? If so, putting a Bullets/Quick's Card 4 combo on a Gunner equipped with a Scattergun with enough DEX to make the Scattergun's AGI 5-10, and the rest STR could deal pretty high DMG. This, with 3 Priests, would have an incredibly high DPS.

Here's some calculations
With 140 DEX and a Quick's Card 4, the AGI of Scattergun would be 8-9 (the max AGI can go below 10 when using quick's card). 50/8.5 is about 5.8 shots per second
With Bullet's Card 4, there would be 18 bullets of 1-80, which is on average 729 damage per "shot". Multiply that with how many shots per second, and you get 4288, which is pretty high.
correct me on any mistakes...

This, with 3 Priests, would have an incredibly high DPS. Yeah. I have been planning to do this for ages, but the build takes too long for me to be bothered. 18 bullets at 1-80 damage each will be 18-1,440 per shot. Assuming 40fps, with an AGI of 3-6, this means 7-13 shots a second, or (126-234) to (10,080-18,720) damage per second. With three priests with 100 STR each, this will quadruple the DPS, meaning that in the end, assuming all shots hit, this will do (504-936) to (40,320-74,880) DPS. This is not without cost. Assuming no MAG has been pumped into the class, each shot costs 40 gold. At 7-13 shots a second, gold cost per second would be 280-520. Now, with the size of the Pyramid Boss, it is likely that most shots would hit. This means that you could kill him in (159-86) to (2-2) seconds, without priest damage included. The cost, however, would be (6360-3440) to (80-80) gold. The scattergun is thus awesome. EDIT: This assumes that 5-10 AGI has been achieved through overwhelming dexterity. Otherwise damage outputs would be far lower/

Mini-Uzi and 3-Round-Burst still beat it, but the Scattergun is pretty good for groups of flying enemies.

Otherwise damage outputs would be far lower/ Err...some comments 1. I'm not sure if you can reach that low of an AGI even with a quick's card and all DEX, if you use the formula on the dan-ball wiki: AGIequipped = AGIweapon/(1+(DEX × 0.02) (lowest 5 - 10) Plug in 140, which is the DEX you get at level 71, and you get: AGI (min)= 50/(1+(140*0.02))=50/3.8=13.15...*0.6 (quick's card)= 8 AGI (rounded to nearest whole number) AGI (max)=60/(1+(140*0.02))=60/3.8=15.78...*0.6 (quick's card)= 9 AGI (rounded) 2. Do you use 40 fps or 50 fps, cause I've been using 50 fps for all my previous calculations.

I think that 5 AGI = 0.1 seconds. Using that you could probably figure out the rate per second.

best compos for Inferno Orb is Bullet's Card + Guide's Card since heat clouds keep hitting enemies
