Listo has the admin passwords to the old forum.

Perhaps, but if he does, what do you propose we do?

I say the admins of this forum, and Froggy, send a letter to Proboards explaining the situation. Maybe the password can go to Veers.

You honestly expect that ProBoards is to do something about the situation? It is not their responsibility as to who is given the codes to users' passwords, and the result thereof.

You realize that Listo actually helped us recover the old forums, right? I had already made preparations for this, this is in no way an announcement and as such has been unannounced.
Of course, after MF's recent actions I can make no guarantee.
Also, worst comes to worst, ultimate ruling goes to Frogmaster, who can override Listo and get the pass changed. Good thing we have that little detail in forum history, eh?

Yes indeed. Good thing indeed.
...but didn't we already send an email to Proboards Support?

Restoring a forum is different from forcing control of the forum from one account to another...

Email? Proboards support doesn't care about emails. They have a forum.

Me having the password to the Administrators account.. Yes, I have that. I am not sure if I am willing to provide the password due to recent events, more or less, as seeing unfit.
I have done what many of you thought I wouldn't. I do not plan on deleting the forums or destroying it in any way, shape, or form. Although I think I shall hold on to that password for safe keeping.
As for getting Proboards to force the password I have into your hands seems very unlikely for any website service. I find it kind of funny that you wish to do that. I would like to ask a few question though. Why would you need the Administrators password if this website is running? Also, what is the point in obtaining my password if you locked the forum's, terminating public uses which in turn dictates only visual access?
You have the powers to do as you wish, the only power you don't control is the deletion or creating of certain items of which isn't needed on a disabled forum.

I made this thread before I knew you weren't planning to re-delete. There's no particular reason you shouldn't have the passwords, except it makes a lot of us feel uneasy.

The problem, Listo, was simply that we feared Lag's return. So long as you don't delete the old ones, and don't allow Lag to do so, there shouldn't be a problem.
