Yes I know the chances of these being found is very small, but hey, you never know. My idea, is to have a zoom, like 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and finally, 32x.

yes, this game could be way way way better with zoom.

Yes, everyone wants zoom.

It has been marked in hundreds of places on the 100BCB, on both Japanese AND English; it'll probably be in 1.2.

I'd like to see different color options.
make it alot more interesting.

Nah, that would take away from the simplicity of it. I like the simplicity. It is in of itself what creates the interest, not pointless colors.

less boring patterns though gotta admit checkers and the building leave alot to be desired.

Zoom would help, I have to strain my eyes to look at the bits.

If you use Windows you can just use the built-in zoom application. I don't know why people aren't using it if they really have to.

I'd like to see different color options. make it alot more interesting. Then it would no longer be 100bits, as colors take up more than one bit of data.

could just have each color cost you however many bits.
the more colors used the more bits you use up out of your 100.
I'm not sure practically speaking if they have the memory to handle it though. I probably would have left off the recording aspect myself even though it is kind of interesting to see what others have done.

I wish that people could have their own organized boards for art. So we could join in and create large masterpieces! As it is now there is art and then there is... not art.
People who don't spend time on their work will upload and it will mar the possible perfection someone has already made. It's like putting the Bioshock Art on PG next to hand drawn art. Or something worse.

I wonder if we could make a completely black filled screen.

How 'bout a completely white screen?
This is starting to sound racist.....

Post by Draxorion on Jul 23, 2011 1:38:16 GMT
Well, we could upload a completely filled or empty screen, couldn't we?
Or is that not how the system works in 100 bit...?

No, I think you can only change dots 100 times each day, regardless of whether it's black or white.

Yeah... Personally I'd like a function that allows two or more users to play together, viewing each other's work as they add it.

A great function/update would be if there was multiple "screens" happening at once. Since everyone is so crowded on the current one, if we had different screens it would be better since everyone wouldn't be crowded.
So there would be multiple screens. And they could look at/play/modify/upload/etc. on any screen.
I think it might be feasible.

No, I don't think private drawing boards would be the right idea. I love the way that anybody can contribute with the set ammount of bits/dots and it'd be nice if stayed with that main idea. Seperate Drawing boards would be good though since anybody could access the drawingboards, but it wouldn't be all crowded, and there would be multiple pieces of art to look at.

It actually is really crowded.

It's pretty awesome if you look at the 100bit history to see how it evolved. You can see how the small 'city' (like the actual structure that looks like a skyscraper) starting at the lower right corner, then it grew into the skyscraper with see today! EDIT:

what if they several different drawing boards, kind of like servers, and those would be public, this could help prevent crowding. You could even start your own, private server where you can invite other Dan-Ball members.

That's a pretty cool idea, but then Ha55i would have to provide a program to run the server, I don't think that's his forte...

Well he could make the server classes implemented in the web version, so that all it takes to run a server is simply clicking a "Start Server" button. (although it is a lot of work for a game that gets relatively little attention)

It'd be easier to have something like one of those drawing boards where you zoom in on the entire picture and put your little mark.
