Neat brand new FSG. Downloadable, and it seems to have some potential, especially as the creator is working to a very small audience (AKA us and the few FSG people left). He desires suggestions and whatnot. This actually shows quite a bit of promise. The mix of the sound track as affected by the onscreen events and the handy UI make for an enjoyable game. fallingsandgame.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=39030&p=204193Features Over 20 standard elements Over 10 extra hidden elements Mod scripting language for adding elements and interactions Dynamically generated music Music scripting language for composing background tracks Coming soon: Multiplayer Coming soon: Humanoids Coming eventually: Android and iOS apps SUPERNECROEDIT: For any archivists from the future (Hi, me!), the FSG link is dead now. Obviously. Here's a mirror: sourceforge.net/projects/pixelcosm/

It is pretty fun. I like discovering the different elements.
So far I have steam, steel, smoke, saltwater, lava, and firework.

I think he plans on making a full game out of it, somewhat like DoodleGod but FSG-based.
Also, how do you get fireworks?

Falling sand was a precursor to powder game or did it come after? Very nice game btw.

Falling Sand was a precursor, but this is more of a cousin to PG. A community-designed cousin.

Which makes me wonder is Ha55i is ever going to take PG2 in an unique direction, perhaps add more of this kind of mechanic.

Hm, apparently there are ten hidden elements. We must find all of them!

This game is surprisingly good, I like the amount of secret elements. It is pretty fun.
I can't wait for the Android/iOS edition, that's going to be so fun to play.

Yeah, I wonder how multiplayer is going to work. I've been looking into the modding and while I don't understand how to mod the music track (there are multiple), I think I may get how we can mod the elements and their reactions in a variety of humourous or useful ways.

saltwater anomaly mortar fireworks steel smoke lava steam snow glass ok i win bye I have gotten cement and concrete, but I have not figured out how to get glass. I think cement is just stone + sand, or stone + sand + lava. Concrete is cement + water.

to make glass you have to put lightning on sand

It's painful cause glass is transparent so it's easy to not think you made it.

Thanks, I was trying to burn sand or something, I did not think of thunder. It is not too hard, what I did was just hold the right click most of the time I mixed stuff.

YESSSSS Linux version available.
I like this guy already. Time to download.
EDIT: Tarball won't extract properly. Downloaded multiple times to check. Anyone else having this problem? Until then I'll just download the windows version and run it with wine. (or go to my windows side for bit)

Sorry for double post, but you are unable to upload files if you edit a post, only if you post a new one. I just made a track for the game. Take the file attached and put it in you PixelCosm/resources/tracks Folder. Then edit the tracklist file (in PixelCosm/resources, which is just one directory up) to look like this: # fortress.track grim.track bounce.track slow.track letting.track sharksthird.track lead.track (Simply type grim.track under the commented out fortress.track) Hope you guys enjoy. (it should be the first track that plays) Attachments:
