The most epic thing happened two days ago. I was representing my school in an interschool table tennis tournament, along with two other people. I was a disaster. I placed around 17th out of 25 people. The other two from my school, however, turned out to be exceptional table tennis players. They came in first and second. This means my school was the overall best, and I won a medal along with certificates for being in the winning team. This is what I call being in the right place at the right time.

I suppose you did your best, even if you didn't get a good place. So, take that medal as a proof that your efforts didn't go to waste.

yeah thanks. Although I was an epic fail, it is true that if I wasn't there, our school would have only had 2 entrants. that would mean we wouldn't have had a full team so I was actually needed.

You still got the medal right? ...and you know what you did wrong right? Lesson learned. Well done.
