Is there anyone out there who actually likes the process of raising weak SR teams and bringing them up? Because I can think of a zillion good team ideas, I just have trouble staying focused long enough to actually bring them to maximum potential (mostly because early and even middle game either frustrate the heck outta me or bore me half to death). If I could make a shared account on Dan-Ball with someone who actually likes that first bit of the game, before they can really see the teams' true power, that would be the best thing for me since otherwise there's not much way very many of my ideas will ever see even just Desert 1. I don't wanna go off getting someone who doesn't like that first part of SR either to do this- I only want someone who actually likes the level grinding and item collecting (that way I'm not really troubling anyone). (... If someone actually does take me up on this I will be very surprised but very thankful). One build that I can think is Boxer w/ 25 MAG, 16 DEX, rest LP, main weapon would be Thunder Knuckle 3 with optimal compos being Topaz 5 and Bullet's Card 5 (guess who put that in over at the Dan-Ball Wiki for the Thunder Knuckle 3 entry), alternate weapon Fire Knuckle 3 w/ Garnet 5 + Quick's Card 5. Another one is Angel w/ 40 MAG, 60/100 DEX, rest LP, primarily handles the Ice Ring/Chakram with the Bullet's Card and Sapphire. I also mix more common builds into my teams, such as the tank boxer (pure LP), extreme magic Gladiator (100 MAG, rest LP, Flame Sabel with Ruby and Garnet, Lightsaber 4 with Topaz and Quick's Card, Frozen Sabel with Diamond and Quick's Card), the infamous ranged poison sniper (exact MAG of chosen weapon (I usually use 35 for Pyramid Arrow (poison jewels) and Flame Arrow (fire Jewels) (... not that I've ever gotten there after starting a team including this sniper build)), rest STR), and the pure STR priest, which I usually use at least one of for each team, but never more than two (if I do use a third Priest the third one does pure MAG for hitting a good portion of the field, then the fourth character has to be one capable of doing some damage to make the STR Priests useful). I tend to stay away from survival-type teams- the only time i use survival tactics is if I need to keep ranged characters well-guarded, for which the tank boxer seems to be useful. (You won't catch me putting DEX on a Priest build, for example, though I do still do range increasing tactics sometimes (usually for Snipers and Magicians) simply because it's annoying watching my characters dance below one enemy when another enemy over to the right or sometimes even left is busy hammering them, plus being outranged myself isn't too fun, so why not turn that trick the other way)? (Now to see if I even get any replies... ;P )
