I'm mostly trying to have an intelligent conversation away from Stixx, 'cause he's annoying the hell out of me and I still can't tell if it's intentional or not. Anyway, I've dealt with less traffic and if nothing else I can still post over at EECB.

Ah, Dan-Ball orange... decades from now I will look back on that color scheme and proceed to to paint an entire house with it, not actually my house though, that'd be silly since I'll still probably be a shut-in.

Well yes, but I'm sure they would understand and sympathize with my desire for nostalgia. Honestly if they got too upset about it I could always leave them a tasteful gift-basket somewhere that they'd see it, like in their driveway or a coffee-table or perhaps in their mailbox... (Is it more customary to give fruit or soap after this sort of thing?)

Plus if they're my neighbor, then they'd probably be used to antics like that.

I don't think there IS any customary gifts to leave after something like that. I guess if they're used to that sort of thing, though, nothing really for it. Me, I'll stick to matching those colors on web design.
