Today, the twenty fourth of may, in the tenth year of our twenty first century, we celebrate the emancipation of the Dan-Ball community from the tyranny of the Listo regime and it's subsequent replacement, the reign of Lag. We now have a responsible group of leaders, who will provide stability, security, due process, and just action. I celebrate this victory with my fellows and wish to invite any new comrades to our ranks. The price of this victory was steep. It is unlikely that we will ever recover the entirety of our lost work. But the sacrifice was well worth it, and in retrospect, I am glad to begin anew on a clean slate. This blank tablet provided to us will become, in time, a greater work than we had accumulated before the irresponsible actions of theListo forced us to start over. I, for one, have no regrets. This is a fine day for the beginning of a new coalition of people, bound by a single community.
Edit: This speach is also riddled with mistakes a testament to spellcheck.

Oh, and we can still access the old forum. Until Lag pulls himself together and bans us, anyway. It may serve as an archive.

It is still highly unlikely we will be able to back up the whole thing...

No, but I'm sure we can use it as archives, unless they are deleted.

You reckon that is Lag bans us, we should just hack the old site into destruction? It would be a worthy present, for one so spammy. I mean, if you remember the spamstorms of history, noone could do anything about it. It would mightily annoy Lag Fail Dictator.

Glad you liked it. We all know that Lag Lord Of Fail is spammy though. I was only vocalising what everyone else thought. o3o

I prefer calling him the five-post dictator, but call him what you want.
If we are banned, we go in via proxies (subtly) and MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT GAIN ACTIVITY. We want to keep the threads there.

Why don't we just produce a clone HTML of the old site to keep as records? Listo could probably be none the wiser...

Disabled was working on something similar. Anyway, the forums aren't all HTML.

Who exactly deleted the forums? Lag? Listo? Meh... we have our copy.
Lol even Linkzcap moved to this site. I think this new forum will be okay after-all.

What surprises me is that activity actually shot up. I thought it would get close to death and we'd lose members, but turns out we actually gained members, not counting the previous members that came back!

True, but alas... as the shock and awe of this dies down, members shall fade away and not really come here anymore...
(I'm not suggesting that we delete the forums every 3 months or so, that would be crazy!)

Well, only a few that came to visit went away. They didn't really intend to stay. We've already gained new members to make up for some of them.
