Well it seems that a "near by" (red dwarf) has a planet 3 times the size of earth but its in the goldielocks zone which sugests that there is liguid water, which sugests that there might be life! Its extreamly close in terms of space. news.discovery.com/space/earth-like-planet-life.html

It's logically impossible for there to be NO chance of other life on other planets. To think otherwise is incredibly narrowminded. I hope there is life there. How are we going to prove it though. We can't... Not now..

Well, it would take no less than 20 Earth-years to get to the planet, and what we see now is how the planet looked 20 years ago, but it nevertheless seems promising.

>Implying humans can hit the speed of light with conventional means.
Now being able to cut space so you could travel FASTER than the speed of light. That is promising.

You know, we artificially created amino acids from substances naturally found. But, to validate this requires SCIENCE! To the labmobile! We must conduct more tests!

It's obvious that there is life on other planets. There is an extremely large number of planets, we know life is possible, so there probably is another planet with life.

Agreed. To bad we are still (sorta) far from ever being able to do so.

Any travel we do come up with won't be faster than light Per Se. It would just be a shorter distance.

Yep... warp space change the distance...
Heh, I can't wait util we are actually able to do it in sizable measure. Then we can have a holiday house on another planet! ;D

I hope we find life on mars. Because if we do then life is actually not rare at all and quite abundant. That means that we could probably be living in a galaxy with intelligent life in it!
Imagine instead of USA, Russia, England... it's Humans, EWQuhiuh, 28ihngjmgbggggg and #)#*#
We could have an empire and bring a real meaning to looooooooooooooooooooooooong distance relationships...
