Apparently polls don't work, but what do you use?
I personally use GIMP, used to use paint too but the Windows 7 version of paint is crap. I've also used PSCS4 in the past, before my laptop crashed.

GIMP.
I'm too fond of all it's features and too used to them to switch to photoshop.

Interestingly, Paint.
I find that art should be about innovating from the simplest formations, where intricate structure is the result of many simple parts.

I basically use GIMP for the most part, am starting to use Pixelmator because it's optimized for Mac OS X. Also, Photoshop CS4 for photo editing.

Viva il Macintosh. Apparently, I seem to like Pixelmator more than GIMP...

I use Paint.net. It's more complex than MS Paint, but not too complex. I can also install addons if necessary, just as one can for Mozilla Firefox. I don't need much...

PSCS5, occasionally IllustratorCS5, but I'm really a pixel-pusher, not a vector-bender.

Yup, definitely liking Pixelmator better. I did my history project on it, a propaganda poster for WWI. I've also made desktops for me, my brother, and my dad, which are scattered around the forum.

I prefer GIMP as I have made themes, wallpapers...
AND last year I made 2 propaganda posters too! (for history, one for communism and one against, got full marks for it BTW)
Rock, what exams are you writing (when you matriculate)? IEB? Or something different?

What do you mean by exams? Like a DBQ (Document Based Question [Its really an essay]) or something?

No like I mean the syllabus, what do you cover, who sets your grade 12 exams or something like that. If you don't know then you don't know that's fine. XD Anyways, back to my random rambling about GIMP. Every year for the past 3 years now I've been making a Christmas photo-thing with GIMP and some photos of my family. I seem to be getting a bit better each year. Yay for alpha channel selecting!
