That must be it. In order for Ganon to be correct we must prove that the "right" way is determined by a Lorentz Attractor in a sealed box!

However, if it's all pointless in the first place, no reason to enjoy it, is there? Correct. However, we do enjoy it. The reason we don't just kill ourselves is because we don't want to.

NEVER BRING EMOTIONS INTO LOGIC. They don't mix. Emotions are doing sans thinking. Logic is thinking before doing. If you honestly want to say enjoying things is a reason to live, but nothing else, you aren't thinking with your mind, you are thinking with your crotch.

He didn't. You, on the other hand...
And did you seriously just say that the usage of emotions means that you are thinking with your crotch? Okay, I'm done. Get out of our debate board and do not return. Feel free to hang around the rest of the forum, but not here.

Hmm, I didn't see this. Maybe there should be a warning applied after all to the proclamation made in the "Is There a God?" thread?

Nah, no need for a warning. There's no rule against using Kurai logic. It's just keeping him out to avoid trouble.

Now, enjoying things is a reason to live. The pursuit of happiness, which can be said to be the same thing, is a reason to live. It is also a purpose to life. The answer to the original question, "Why are we here?" could indeed be "To be happy."

Well, what I was saying, from my nihilistic viewpoint, is that there is no inherent meaning or purpose to life. Then Kurai asked why don't we just kill ourselves, to which I replied that generally, positive stimulation in life outweighs bad, so we might as well enjoy it while we can.
