Well, one day, my mommy loved my daddy very very much...
Oh, that isn't what you mean.
Well, I was bored one day, so I typed in i-am-bored. I found i-am-bored.com. Awhile later I found a game called Block Action. It was epic with an epic community, and I was a great there. When the sequel came out, which lacked many features, it died for two years, with was long enough for it to die. The forums died in the 2006 spam bot attack. However, while I was playing it, I always googled "Block Action". I found that frequently at the top of the page was a site called "Jay is Games", so I went there. This was before it was that popular. Awhile later, they reviewed a game called "Liquid Webtoy". I went there, and it was awesome. Some time after that I explored the rest of dan-ball. This is around the time PG was created, and I loved that game as well. For the longest time I played PG alone, as if I were the only one in the world (I never visited the PGCB). Then Uploads came out, and I realized how popular PG was. After awhile, TSL uploaded an advertisement. I saw it and followed it. When I saw the forum was fresh and new, I decided, for some reason, that I really would be active on this one. It would be a fresh start. The community was new, the threads were few, and I thought it would grow into something great. I figured the best way to make a name for myself was to stick with the forum and be active, and try to help people that need it, and I would eventually be a very respected member, even an admin. I looked up to the admins as Gods, and when I actually had a conversation with Listo via PM (It was about bacon and omelets), I was a crazed fan-boy. I was actually meeting Listo himself!
Naturally things just went from there. As I ascended myself, Listo grew from a god to a boss (to be respected) to almost an equal. I helped him with his habbo retro via remotely controlling his computer, even, and that seemed to be a small favor. In my earlier days I probably would have fainted.
Ozone actually gave me my admin promotion during his brief reign. After much studying programming to attain the rank of Security Administrator, the staff was restructured and I came out of it near the top anyway. Things went from there to here.

I got obsessed with physics games and googled them. I found those old sand games, played them for maybe a year or so, then went to the forums. I saw a thread that was talking about powder game. Clicked on the link and loved it, and played it for a long time. Then Buggy and I joined the forums at around the time TSL joined. I stayed here, and all wus good, except when the fail-april came and everything exploded :<

A friend showed me powder game at school. I played it on and off, enjoying how many new elements there were each time I opened it back up. one day, I wanted to see if there was a powder game forum. I Googled and I found these. I was fascinated b the laser tech thread. I read every post and then created an account in august 2009 so I could post an introduction in it. I've never dropped interest in laser tech since.

Well i came here much like izacque, except a friend of mine (XXX) told me about this...
*Flashes back in time*
I was fascinated with the powder games on the Internet years ago. I first saw my brother playing Falling Sand and then i was wondering what the game was called, so he responded "Its called Falling Sand, its a fun game." This was about 5 years ago a little bit before Powder Game came out, and for years I didn't know anything about something called Dan-Ball. After 5 years I ran into Paradox in school(you shall not know his name) we were friends, so he told me about this game called powder game. So I checked it out, it was fun. Then he told me about the Official Dan-Ball Forums and how i could suggest an element or other things like playing forum games and spamming stuff. I googled Dan-Ball forums and clicked on the first one I saw. The first people I incountered were I think Qwerty,Artik,Veers, and ShortCakes.
Thats the story of how i got here.

A kid told me that he wanted to show me a cool game, it was a bit random, but he showed me something called powder game. I played the game for a couple more days, when I found an ad M4 put up.
MY first post was on M4's board, then my second was on the 'Request an Element' thread. So I posted there, this is how the conversation went...
Vertigo:Put in quark gluon plasma.
Secret(Might of been somebody else):And, is that an element request?
Vertigo:Please, I won't use the cherry ontop unless I get desperate.
GV then edited my post telling me that I had to go in depth, and then he tossed the template at me. So, I made a request a couple of days later, and it turned out to be overly long.
I was on my way out when I decided to look at the chat. It was Fox and somebody else talking about something I didn't understand. I asked, and found out it was NGI. So, I jumped in, and took France. I wanted to stay at least until the game finished, but it took longer than I thought.
Seeing as how the game will finish anyday now..
Oh well, I'm not staying just because of NGI now. Also, whoops, I said more than how I got here.

I found Powder game because I was obsessed with physics games, but my parents wouldn't let me download any at the time. I found this place because I was googling places to put element suggestions.

You guys probably don't know aWeSum much, but he was actually the one to show me Powder Game. I had played Powder Toy and Falling Sand before, but neither could amount to its epic-ness. So, for a few months or so, aWeSum and I would just hang around on PG, not going on the PGCB, and completely oblivious to the ODBF. Soon enough, however, I found the Forums thanks to the FireFox autosearch when you type in the keywords in the address bar. Later, I showed aWeSum, who became the member he is now. Afterwards, I referred PZ to the Forums. The first members I met were: Secret, Artik, Memzak, and then Listo. By the way, shouldn't aWeSum get points for indirectly referring PZ to the Forums?

I was obsessed with Falling Sand and decided to do a really long Google search of 'physics games'. I found something called Dust which redirected me to Powder Game. Instant hook, lasting still today.

I was hanging out with a friend the other day and he told me he had found a game on NotDoppler (of course) called "Dust". So, I checked out the game and loved it. I then visited the comment board and saw an advertisement for a forum. I ignored it, but then there were ads everywhere. I got pissed because I hate advertisements and I thought it just lead to some dumb forum with 5 members. But, I checked it out and after about 5 minutes I signed up.
Teh end.

I was at a Summer School and we played games at every opportunity. We could only get Falling Sand, but I was quicly referred to PG. I played. I liked. I stayed. A while later I found the forums and liked them. After staying for a bit, I left. And then returned. And stayed. Now I am an active member.

Just like everyone else here, I played Falling Sand first. I later went on to pointlesssites.com and found Powder Game. From there I messed around, then started to make uploads, and found myself in the Danball Forums. I also play SR now, and love to talk about anything.

Around 2007 I had gained an interest in various sand games. I was nearing the age of twelve at the time. One game I was most fond of was Burning Sand, which I had played for a few weeks. Eventually, it had gotten tedious, so I had decided to move on to something else. I searched "sand games" with the Yahoo search engine and one of the first things that appeared was a site labeled "Jayisgames.com."
Upon finding this sight I became greatly addicted. All of the various games kept me playing regularly. It was not too long that a review was placed on a game labeled "Powder Game." I tried it and realized just how much potential was in such a game. Upon reading the comments page I had seen a link advertised by a forgotten user labeled "unofficialdanballforums.com" or something of the sort.
You would be surprised that once seeing the forum, I was not so much interested in the overall purpose except for the live chat (this was the first time I had ever seen such a device). I decided to make a temporary account, labeled "UnknownEntity" (my name on previous websites at the time), and was soon to be persuaded to make a Chatango account by two users, Buggy and Exthara. Aerodude was also there at the time. The name "UnknownEntity" was taken, so I had decided to change my name to "EvilEntity" (mind you, I was twelve at the time).
There eventually came a point to where I wanted to upload my own creations, so I made an account labeled the same. I had only made one upload with that account during my whole time using the name. Nearly a year later I had finally become of age to make my own forum account, which was also labeled the same.
At this time, I was not so much a member as I was a "flamer" to be honest. I was banned repeatedly on the chat, yet never on the forum. It was not before long until I had enough of being banned. I decided to take a new name upon myself, one that would be a completely different persona from previous "EvilEntity." It was then that my name changed to "KuraiOorora."
It was then that my outcome of my forum appearance had a complete change. After about a few months of this behavior, there was a decision to make a new skin for the forum. I had informed the General that I would've liked to make a new, better forum skin, and gave him a few examples of my graphic work. He agreed and decided to make me Aesthetics Designer at the time, which gave me the ability to edit forum skins and that only.
The outcome of the skin was not positive at all. Many if not almost all of the high staff members were absent from the total change, and in doing so the user SoleilDeimos and myself decided to completely re-do the forum layout. It was not long before the General returned and had decided that the skin was not best for the forum, though I was informed that he was fond of the skin and preferred using it at that time...
Then GGoodie made himself known by creating a new skin before the current one of the forum. It was much rounder and nicer than the original, square version. My rank as Aesthetics Designer still remained and so did my activity. If was not much longer before I became a moderator of the Games category of the forum. Around two months later, TheListo had decided that he was to make me the rank of High Administrator as a Christmas gift, albeit a large responsibility which I had felt seemed a bit unearned, yet accepted.
Then came the constant staff cuts. Around this time my activity slowly diminished, yet I still happened to survive all of the cuts, and was placed simply as Administrator. I was informed that if my activity did not pick up soon that I would be demoted as staff. I do not wish to discuss my overall reason for my loss of activity, but I eventually came to the point of resigning and left for a time. Now I have returned and hope to be so for a long time.
I apologize for my very lengthy post...
