Depends on how you pronounce "Qwertyuiop". I pronounce it with three syllables, but I guess it also makes sense to pronounce it with five.

I pronounce it 'kwer-ty-you-I-op' How can it be pronounced with three syllables? wouldn't you have to ignore some vowels?

KoL have a Haiku chat. Somewhat entertaining sometimes.
Hippopotamus, Playing around with no lights, Under the covers
Technically though to be a Haiku it have to be describing nature. My example may be describing too much if you think too much about it.

Cor van den Heuvel once made a 1-word Haiku. I think it's a legitimate genre, i'm not sure. Here it goes:
"Tundra".

I think the first line has 6 syllables.... As well as nature, haiku's also need to have a season. usually this is brought in, in a subtle way.

Opps, change it to "I am not crazy" then.
Anyway it hard to remember to count with shorter words.
Banana bread, Put it in a toaster, Banana toast yum.
(brea-d...Two syllables right with the D or is it just one?) If just one then switch with "Wow banana bread" but I believe it is two as you need the d sound.

Bread is just one syllable, the same way things like red and dead are also both 1 syllable. A good way to think of syllables is count on your fingers as you speak, and look for vowels and how you pronounce it. Bread can be two syllables if you pronounce it bre-ad, but it is pronounced a bit like "bred"

I mostly say it so fast that it end up being one syllable. Some words are just hard to count the syllables for sometimes. I have too much time, I could be doing something, Yet just wasting life.
