We got player, something wanted by some but hated by some, in this update. Players do not have attributes here as of this update. Discuss.

I dunno why some people hate player. I love it, adds a new dimension.

I somewhat hate it. If I wanted a platformer I would play cave story or something. Uploads really shouldn't involve the player as the main element. Player courses are honestly boring to me and yet I enjoy the ball courses uploads personally because it show how predictable the game is and even show some of the mechanics. Then again my opinion isn't worth much.
With that said player was going to happen sooner or later. I at least like the fact blackhole work well with it. Pushing left arrow cause the player to move left even if it isn't your left.

As I expected, Player wont do anything when there is no gravity. If there is no gravity the player wont be able to face any direction so the controls have no meaning

To each his own, but I love player courses, especially M4s. It's obviously useful to enough people to make it actually worthwhile, certainly way more than many other features. Besides, not all good uploads that involve players are player courses.

Only thing I'm annoyed about is the lack of attributes at present. Limited to jumping puzzles at present instead of more clever course designs.

Yeah, they're not very good without attributes. Attributes can easily turn PG into a very fun and very complex puzzling jumping thing, especially when combined with laser mechanics.

Still no wheel. I'll play Powder Game 2 when there is wheel. Wheel makes laser logic possible.

I had some luck with Zero-G Acid/Clone for laser duplication, but it does take up more space relative to the number of beams produced.
I'm still thinking we'll either see Attributes or an Object in the next update. Either way be good.
