Oh, I wasn't implying that I have priority rights. By all means, make it! I'll probably play, but as I said, I'm too busy to commit myself to a moderator position.

Damn, I was gonna remake it, under a different name, of course. But I'm too busy atm and don't want to commit myself to something I don't have time for. (we all know what happens when I do that)

whattawha--? that sounds like a beast of a map! Also, are "progress posts" allowed? Posts that have no RP in them at all / Posts that just have a dialogue that contributes in no way to the game, just incrementation of the counters.

A friend showed me powder game at school. I played it on and off, enjoying how many new elements there were each time I opened it back up. one day, I wanted to see if there was a powder game forum. I Googled and I found these. I was fascinated b the laser tech thread. I read every post and then created an account in august 2009 so I could post an introduction in it. I've never dropped interest in laser tech since.

ugh... what happened? where am I? Roght looks around. Creatures surrounded him, though none of them paying him any attention. They were all sorts of creatures in every conceivable shape and size. They bustled about on their mysterious errands looking almost alive. Almost... Roght turned around. there was a creature watching him. It had two legs yet had no trouble balancing. It seemed to have two other appendages higher up on its body, but they did not look made to walk. Standing on its two legs like that, it was about twice as tall as Roght. Its body gleamed golden. "Hello, Roght." "So you know my name." "I see you like to get to the point. Very well. You have been transported from your planet and given a vast domain that is under your control. You own all of this. You control all of this. You have been given god-like powers." "... Why?" "My lord Tephanis wishes to study the effect of god-like power on mortals." "I'm a test subject." "If you wish to be so blunt, but--" "Bring me back." "Roght! You have been given a whole world to command! I understand that in your community you were an engineer. You created mining equipment that revolutionized the industry. Look around you! These very creatures, they are machines! You can study them! Learn from their design! Imagine: A world tailored to mechanics! Have you noticed the atmosphere is completely void of moisture? That the wind kicks up no dust? With this world and your powers, you can make wonders!" "I want back." "Don't be so ungrateful!" *silence* "Well, Tephanis has been most kind to you. if you return his favors with such ingratitude then so be it. I will leave you now." The strange metallic creature vanished in a flash of light. "Tephanis, Dammit! Can you hear me?! I want out! Tephanis! Tepahniiiiiiiis!!!" Roght in his rage didn't realize that he had gone to white-hot. The metal beneath his feet warped and glowed. Suddenly, Roght felt worn out. He collapsed. His last thought was the name of the mate he left behind. Leenah, Leeenaaaaah

When Roght entered the village, he found a profoundly different scene. Empty market stalls stood with their wares still displayed. Roght turned to an empty restaurant. In the corner he saw one of the people from the graveyard. Roght approached. "Hello."

Hmmmm... No map yet? Hopefully that will change. I don't have an RP post yet, but here's my country stats. It's really just a copy-paste of yours with my own choices substituted. I'll get into the hang of this soon

hmm... Well i am as you know a non relgious person and an evolutionist. I need to get my 2 cents in... so tell me, why do you belive in this so called "god"? Is it because you have been tought that there is this "all mighty being in the sky" and you shouldnt question what we say or you will be sent to hell and never come back. Well what proff do you have that there is a god? Other than "The Bible says so" and "Thats what was tought at church". That is a disgusting generalization on the intelligence of religious people and I resent it. I assure you that there are many religious people, including myself, who are very capable of individual, intelligent thought. If I were to make generalizations about non-christian evolutionists, I could just as easily say, "The science book says so!" or "That's what was taught in school!" Now, in terms of evidence, I point to the evidence of design in bio-chemistry. What you see throughout biology at the cellular level is irreducible complexity. The chances of irreducibly complex mechanisms springing into existence are ridiculous. Also, origins. There is no plausible way that inorganic matter can be turned into a prokaryote. Qwerty, I read your links, wincing at how often the words "maybe someday...", "Not yet discovered", and "we hope to see..." appeared. Now I ask, why would 6 "huge" dimensions be too big for macro-atomic entities to show evidence of them, yet sub-atomic particles, some of them not even observed, be able to show evidence? What is this "indirect evidence" of the 6 dimensions? And how in the world do 6 extra dimensions prove, or even imply, an infinite amount of universes? In fact, qwerty, I also have PhDs to back me up. But of course, you could say that the majority is always right, regardless of the scientific evidence, but that kind of thinking merely suppressed Copernicus when he made one of the greatest astronomical discoveries.

Name: Roght Race: Black Ignis Lupis (picture a black wolf skeleton the size of a grizzly bear. It's surrounded by black fire/smoke. ) Class: none Age: a couple thousand years, but he doesn't really keep track of time
Roght can move incredibly fast. he can heat his body up until it glows red, orange, yellow, and then even white. when he's white, the very stones beneath him begin to melt. he can't maintain this state for long. The black smoke is poisonous, but it naturally decays in about 3 seconds, so he can't really use it to poison people by breathing. However, if goes into water, the water is toxic. He can also smell ores. Around his neck is a pouch that bulges slightly, but few people know what is in it.
Roght is walking through the woods when he sees a group of people struggling with zombies. He lets out a lion's roar and charges, moving so fast that the group can't tell who or what is was that's saving them. Roght jumps on one zombie from behind, his speed causing them both to go flying toward a monument. He digs his back claws into the zombies back and bites the zombies neck. Using the approaching monument as a springboard, he back flips, tearing the zombie in two and landing right in front of another zombie. Roght swipes the zombie off his feet and grabs the zombie by its rib cage. A simple thrust into the ground mashes the zombies chest into a pulp. A third zombie, slowly realizing what's happening turns toward Roght. Roght kicks out his hind leg, catches the zombie by the gut, and then drags the zombie forward, leaping over it and sending it into a fourth zombie. The two zombies collide with such force that their body parts fly apart in several pieces. Roght grabs the leg of one of the zombies in mid-air and throws it at the final zombie with such force that the leg sticks into the zombie's face. He lands, facing the group. This all took place in about five seconds. As the smoke dissipates, Roght steps forward.

wait, hold on a second. you say these parallel universes can be observed? H4X! H4X! H4X! uh, anyway, could you put some of the evidence of these parallel universes here? I know we could google, but for the purpose of the debate, we should pretend there are no search engines and therefore we should present evidence so that all we need to know to reach our conclusions is in the thread.

okay, right now we're at a standstill. Nothing can be proven or dis-proven on either side. The main conflict is one of us assumes multiple universes and the other assumes one universe. If there is no proof of either side, we'll have to agree on an assumption to take. Now, I think that assuming one universe is more logical because it can be observed. Assuming multiple universes is just as logical as assuming god.
MF, I'm inclined to agree with you. The boys were very lucky. The odds of those rocks being there and the fireman being there could have been one in a billion, but those are still feasible odds. To say that this universe was very lucky to spawn life is to laugh at incalculable odds. Again, biochemistry. Again, irreducible complexity. An intelligent force created life on earth. The evidence? 1) The odds of self-reproducing life-forms developing in the manner that we have them on earth are ridiculous 2) Said life-forms are, at their very foundation, irreducibly complex. 3) The individual parts of the life-forms serve a purpose.
Give me proof that a cell will develop spontaneously without any intelligent guidance assuming one universe. Why has science failed to replicate the phenomenon? If you wish to insist that my logic is flawed by my one-universe assumption, then how do you know your logic isn't flawed by your multi-universe assumption? Either we assume one universe, or this entire debate is utterly meaningless.

... If you pull out parallel universes, I can't say anything to that. I would, however like some proofs. I mean, what if I said that all these universes have parallel gods and that some versions of god interfere with their universes while other versions barely touch them. You could have a universe where divine interaction is taken for granted, and another universe where the inhabitants are completely unaware of the existence of their god. Obviously I don't believe this, mostly because I don't believe in parallel universes. But with parallel universes as a premise, you have no way of disproving this multi-god hypothesis. But regardless of the implications of parallel universes, what exactly is the evidence of these universes? How can there be evidence? Basically, parallel universes provides an explanation, but it has no proof. how could it possibly be scientific? and therefore how can it possible be a worthwhile argument in a scientific debate?

mmkay. My main point about Bio-Chemistry is that it is statistically ridiculous to claime that even the simplest eukaryote was built by chance. Yes a primordial soup has what it takes to create organic compunds, but many of those very compounds are prohibitive to the formation of life. You are not only looking for the right chemicals to form, but for the wrong chemicals to NOT form! and that's just proteins. Don't even get me started on complex enzymes and protein formation within the cell. As for macro-evolution, I refer you to the complexities of, say, blood clotting. Irreducible complexity. Nuff said.
Now I'm not going to defend the bible because its authenticity has no effect on the debate. Indeed, I simply prove that an intelligent agent created this universe. for all we know, said agent could simply have made this worlds and then promptly forgot about this. I do not intend to make this a religious debate. it is purely scientific and the results do not hinge on which, if any, religion is correct.

I think that if you just take a look at bio-chemistry, it becomes pretty obvious that evolution could not have created it. So I believe in intelligent design and can argue for that scientifically. but my belief in the judeo-christian God is more philosophical and personal. Basically, I can prove there is a God, but no-one can prove anything about him. just that he/she/it exists.

MF, I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Sequenced, timed, and completely reliable clocks eliminate the need for tubes. All cancellations can be done on one bounce point. even mid-air collisions can be reliable.

It makes me miss out on EVERYTHING... k, so. I should be able to resume my former duties June 7th. If you've found a new GA, so be it. he's probably more qualified than me. But still, I'll be back as an active member of the community starting June 7th. ugh.. I really can't believe I missed it. ;_; ... yeah...
