Well Memzak that picture does as a description and it would probably work. I probably upped your hopes to high though... I'm not particularly good at gui coding and I don't like it that much. That thing is 95% gui and 5% glue code and thats not a very interesting project to me. If someone does the gui thing, I will gladly provide the save code and help with everything else. If someone wants to do it, he'd better contact me before he starts to get the details about how some stuff works internally. Having said that, since over a year I'm irregularly developing something SR related that might also be used for PG upload mixing via a Firefox Extension. About 2 Months ago I made major progress, but got pushed back on another issue that keeps me from continuing. If someone has any experience with Firefox Add-ons, give me a ping.
Oh and Kurai, are you referring to something specific? You guess... what?

Maybe some form of remote host that can be used as a secondary no-upload-limit upload space? Or would that even require us to know the upload codes?

Thats actually a good idea qwerty, but its only possible with an client side extension. I actually already took quite a lot of attempts to find a simple way to share saves, but that linking extension was the best I could come up with... Well if you have that installed, its no problem doing an external no-limit upload space, but you still need that extension.

kuraikiba777, please don't read this until you feel better. if you are not kuraikiba777 or you feel better now, and want to read my questions, which are a little bit skeptical, about kuraikiba777's post, read on. [edit] oh shoot, did not see kurais explanation after the one I am quoting. sorry bout that. [/edit] parts in bold are responses. also I put formatting anywhere I felt like, because I thought it would not change the message. Please note that this is not meant to be a challenge. also please not that I probably misinterpreted you on at least one of these. please correct me I agree with Satar, that is actually true. I recently found some things may not be totally accurate in my hypothesis, however, it indicates this may be a triangulated vector system. trianglulated: this makes me think of taking 2 directions from 2 points, and finding a point from these. although I guess this could work, it soesent really seem like a reasonable system to store the locations. I believe that log_2(maxheight)+log_2(width) would probably take fewer bits than storing 2 fractions(for the 2 line slopes to get there) vector:this works if the previous one does system:this works It seems to record variables that have Data IDs, and their values and effects. no idea what you mean here.Basically, it defines menu options, fairly convinced that the save codes do not affect the menu, although you may not have meant this. then strings Data IDs together and lists their values at specific " vector circuits -_- the only thing I can think of is arrays containing things similar to pointers pointing to other arrays, that eventually point to the original array. this does not make any sense for storing a grid of values, an array of arrays would make more sense, or possibly array of array of array, but not more. however, I dont think that this save code has arrays of arrays of arrays, but more likely something that corresponds to an array of arrays with the inner arrays containing 3 values. xpos ypos and type, direction, etc." for coordinates.

But I'm terrible at all types of coding, gui or not! :C I'll try and find a friend to help me with it.

About BG's:
Non, Air, Line, Blur, Shade, Aura, Light, Toon, Mesh, Gray, Track, Dark, TG, Siluet
The third digit controls the BG. These are the signs for the ones above in same order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, :, ;, A, B, C
Non-1 Air-2 Line-3 Blur-4 Shade-5 Aura-6 Light-7 Toon-8 Mesh-9 Gray-: Track-; Dark-A TG-B Silhuet-C

also, it appears that every dot added increases the save code length by 3(not ads 3 to the end, but makes it 3 longer, with a significant part staying the same (only tested with having nothing, haivng 1 powder at the top, and having antohter powder right to the right of that)

Just taking a shot in the dark here, but what if the saves are encoded on a quad-tree basis?

Then the codes would look completely different.

Yeah, well, I gave up, but I made a small java program that generates a hash for a save code

Well... I once made an upload that used a lot of wood in the lower bottom. It ended up having a ton of repeated 3-digit groups in the end. I forgot what the group was though. I think it's still 3-digit groups. Has anyone just tried a whole ton of text only? This is what I got for lots of h's and all beginning settings only.

Hmm...when reading the entire thing I saw the 1-pixel block. It appears as 1 pixel in non, blur, shade, aura, light, toon, mesh, dark, TG and siluet, but not gray, air, line, or track. Hmm...
