Arty watched horrified, trough a destroyed tunnel, filled with dust, blood and Phoeinx troops screaming around and covering their ears(You know why, read my previous post). And i saw Memzak had grabbed Clamaxti. It started to get boring, since everything was now playing in slow-motion. I turned my back and finished off the remaining Phoenix troops. I then turned my back again and i saw Memzak and the PIMP still in the same position.
OOC: Stupid slow-motion.

As soon as the slowmotion and dramatic talking ends I rush towards PIMP as he starts firing his guns.
I took a zigzag pattern to avoid most bullet while blocking some with clamaxti. As I got close enough in one fluid motion I sliced his pistol an plasma rifle off.
He smirked thinking I missed. I took a step back and gestured to his plasma rifle I sliced right through the compress plasma holding so that the chamber was half as thick as it was meant to be. Sure enough the pressure of the plasma was too great and the plasma rifle exploded, even though he had dropped it and started to run most of the explosion caught him on his back and burnt and melted him. I also took a couple steps back, but the armor kept me protected from the plasma.
As he was desperately crawling away to try and press the button on the tablet, I walk up and charge up clamaxti with a lightning charge and then stabbed him in the back. Electrocuting him and killing him once and for all.
"You have failed phoenix warden. Never f*** with my Pie." I said.
I then also took the tablet and placed it inside the armors storage for examination later (in the warp dimension like where all my knifes and other small objects go) I then sheath Clamaxti and stand next to Pie and take out a Health Pack 1.
"Boy I'm glad you researched this Artifact... It actually came in handy!" I said as it was Artifacts idea to research it and include it in Project Athena.
"Now lets fix you up Pie." I said as I started basic procedures on Pie's gunshot wound.
Once I was complete he could walk, but with a large limp and he wasn't able to run for long due to pain.
"Better Pie?" I asked.
I then asked, "Fireball, what's our method of transportation out of here?"

You also made that error in the Soldiers 2.0 Thread. It's Fireball and not Fireshell.

Dammit, I keep getting it confused! (don't worry I fixed both threads now.)
Now we await Pie's post. Oh and could you please post in the Soldiers 2.0 thread. I know very little about your troops.

"Memzak, the only way to get out a radio signal is to get out of this base.I suggest explosives,"I said,"So,what bomb shall we use?"

"I have a particular combination in mind." I said.
I then asked Artifact for a particular secret explosive. I shot a hole into the roof and placed the bomb in there.
"We run away from the prison complex as fast as we can, once we are far enough I'll detonate, drawing phoenix troops towards the prison complex. If they aren't already there. A Cytronian has told me that our entrance method is still undiscovered and we could use that to escape." I said.
With that we all started walking and trying to get out of the underground system before we detonate and then make our dash out of the complex.

Pie (takes tablet with him, but deletes the anti-cryotonian targeting system): There's a copy of most of this information on the main server of the base. We'd better blow the whole place up, it could be anywhere and there could be multiple servers, and if we miss one it could be a disaster. This tablet may be useful, it has some nifty information on it and I have no doubt that with the right tools I can change the encoding and the output to fit MA technology.

"Yes, those servers would be a problem. If we can find out their location we should be able to call an airstrike on them." I said.
"Pie, do you think you could access the Phoenix network with that tablet and be able to tell us where the servers are located? No need to be discrete I think they already know we are here." I said whilst gesturing to where the prison complex would be above.
"Fireball, once we get out from underground, do you think those 6 stolen Phoenix Bomber Aircraft could be used? Using their own planes against them should do the trick. Also, don't forget to load them up with as many bombs as possible." I said.
We walked for a couple more minutes and then came up to the surface in a small warehouse.
"I think I remember the way from here." Luxor said.
"Yes, as do I. First we'll get into the system, then set off the distraction bomb and call for an airstrike. Finally, we should call for one of the bomber jets to pick us up after the airstrike and take us home." I said.
"Sound like a good idea?" I asked.

"Yes! Let's blow this base to hell!"
OOC: From what's left from this base after that airstrike i sended at the beginning.

OOC: Exactly, I was hoping that a second air strike would be able to take it down for sure.
"Pie, can you tell us where the servers are located now? That code must NOT fall into the phoenix federation's hands."

(Occ:An airstrike would be able to,but the phoenix transmissions are blocking ours, and who would even pilot the aircraft?) "That would be bad...."
(Sended? It's sent, so don't tell me I have grammar mistakes.)

Pie: I don't know where the physical location of the servers is, just the digital one. If we can find it, we can download the locations of all the other bases, including the HQ, onto this PHX tablet. Then we should destroy the entire base, including the underground part. Much as I hate the subject... Do we have any nukes? And maybe a wheelchair?

|
|
Post by ~Memzak~ on Jan 3, 2011 16:50:13 GMT
"We have one nuke that we bought via unknown means, but unfortunately it's the only thing we have that could further our nuke program. It's probably big enough to blow this base to the high heavens but it'll set us back a lot. Do you think it's worth it?" I asked Pie.
"Oh and fireball, ask for a Firebird Pilot. They are very reliable, just ask Artifact here. One to pick us up and one to drop off the bomb." I replied to fireball.
I then looked back where we came from underground.
"Artifact, do you have any more timed explosives? I think if we are to destroy all of underground we would need a bit more umph." I asked.

A big smile appeared on Artifact's face. "No. But i could call in for a dropship to drop some timebombs..." a minute later the time bombs were dropped on the base, activated and all.

"How? What? When? Where? Oh yea, now I remember why your research chains cost so much, because they were so useful..." I said.
I then took as many bombs as I could carry and activated enhanced speed a reflexes.
"I'll take these and plant them strategically underground and also log a map in the armor so that I don't get lost on the way out." I said.
I then stood still and charged up for a bit and then sprint down, back underground to place bombs around the place. As doing so I logged a though, once again, Executor Artifact sure likes his bombs.

Pie: Do we have some kind of medi-copter? Your fieldwork is excellent, but I do still have a bullet in my leg.
|
|
|
Post by ~Memzak~ on Jan 4, 2011 22:14:28 GMT
It was Luxor who answered the question this time as he had a deep fascination for our newly formed air force.
"We do not have a medi-copter. As an army we in fact only had two copters. Only one of them now though. The best we could do is the cargo bay of a bomber jet. The good news is it was designed to fly steady and it should be a smooth ride for us. I'm sure you'll leg will hold until we get there. Memzak used the medi-pack quite effectively." he said.
After about 15 minutes of waiting I ran out of the tunnel, exhausted.
"I placed bombs in the best places I thought of, I ran into a total of about five troops, but none of them survived to inform the surface I was there." I said.
I then walked up to Pie.
"I found a computer you could try and get something off in the tunnels, it's quite close by I think I'll be able to carry you." I said.
I then propped up Pie on my shoulder, careful not to touch his leg and then sprinted to where the computer was. As luck would have it, there was also a wheelchair nearby so Pie could sit as he worked.

Pie: Excellent. Now I just need to find the (spontaneously named) PHX port and I can download the full map, including the location of the HQ, provided PIMP hasn't wiped it by now. He was kinda disobeying Phoenix orders, so he cut off communication to the other bases.

"Work Fast, tell me over this when you are done." I said as I handed him a small microphone.
I then ran back to where Fireball was to check on the airstrike. He said that all the planes were ready and all he needed was the go order. Same with Artifact and all his bombs underground. I then ran back to Pie and said...
"Everything is ready, as soon as you get what you can we're getting out of here!" I said with a smile.
I then stood guard and kept vigilent in case a phoenix troop were to walk down the hall. None did, I realized most of them are probably just flooding the entrances leading to the prison complex, thinking we are there.

Qwerty: Okay... I got some more data, but not a lot. I do have a general idea of where the HQ is now, and I know what those encoded things we found before are: Superweapons of some kind. I don't know what they do, but we should avoid them.
|

Post by ~Memzak~ on Jan 7, 2011 22:25:04 GMT
"Superweapons!?" I said with alarm.
"Yes, we should very well avoid them."
"I'm afraid we can't get any more time on the network, the Phoenix troops sound like they are searching underground for us." I said after hearing a troop in the distance.
"It should be a smoother ride this time." I said.
I pushed Pie in his wheelchair as I sprinted out of the system.
"Artifact, it's the moment we have been waiting for." I said.
I then pressed the button that activated all the bombs. You could hear multiple booms from different directions and then lots of dust coming out of the entrance to the underground system. (which soon caved in)
"Fireball, call the plane to pick us up and then call the air strike once we're out." I said.

Pie: Excellent. What do we plan to do with the troops outside? No doubt the backup is here by now. They didn't send the info, but they sure sent a distress signal.
|
|

Post by Artifact123 on Jan 8, 2011 8:30:29 GMT
"I wanted to activate those bombs!"
OOC: A random paradox occurs, which, to Artifact's pleasure, warps everybody back in time but with Arty having the remote control in his hands. He presses the red button, and so the cycle is complete.

"Backup is probably storming the area, but remember we came out at the warehouse close to our secret exit. They'll be expecting us at the prison... err... well not anymore"
What we have to do is be careful as we make our way into and then out through the hole in the wall.
"Come this way." I said as we went towards an entrance into the wall.
The wall was cramped, we could only walk in single file, but eventually we stopped at where the hole was made.
"Prepare for the cold." I said to everyone.

"No need, just stay nearby to a cytornian, they keep you warm and toasty." I said.
We then boarder the plane that landed, took off and flew back to West Outpost A. As we were flying we saw a bright light behind us, in the distance. The prison outpost... (since we don't know it's name) ... was no more.
"It's good to have you back Pie, we'll have you're leg fixed up in no time." I said as a nurse took Pie's wheelchair and wheeled him off.
"The good news is you can still work on the tablet while in bed." I said as he looked worried that he wouldn't be able to play powder game...

"Good night pie." I said as I walked to my chambers.
I took off my armor and placed it in my secure secret closet. I then laid down on my bed and relaxed for a while before falling asleep with dreams of blood, gore, violence and our victory.
