Oh! I completely forgot to do the new star thing so we can replace those bland old ones!

That isn't a double post btw. Qwerty posted there, I responded, and he later deleted the post for some reason.

Oops, accidentally posted as Veers for a sec there. I have no idea what happened there, but I don't see why I would delete one of my own posts. To the security log!
EDIT: According to the security logs, the last posts deleted of mine were when you censored our opinions in our board awhile back. Before that, it shows that I did delete the post for some reason. Weird.

...and it seems you modified your post with my account, since I don't recall having modified that post above this one...

WE MUST EDIT THIS TO MAKE DVORAKTHECAKE!
Instead of Temorarily9. In the chat mod box.

Yeah, and besides, now he's ColemakTheDoughnut. You realize you could've just spelled it "donut", right?

3 names later, any idea of when you'll switch back to good ol' QwertyuiopThePie?

Actually, I kinda like this one. It matches up with my chat account, avoids confusion. We can just link the name here to my profile, it'll change automatically.

I agree but it is a bit confusing.

This thread needs much more to be added in order for new members to fully know what is going on.
I looked at this thread, and it gives me no explanation as to why I am here or what this forum is made for in the first place. I feel that there needs to be an elaborate explanation of Dan-Ball and also the forum. Potential users do not find interest in just hearing about "stars" or "who the staff members" are on the board. They want to know what we can do here as a community.
This can further be connected as the welcoming thread to all new users, if this thought was put into place...

For a sec I thought that said "Why this forum was made for me", then I reread it. I feel that is a good idea, but I think the links thread can be the "welcoming" thread, although each new user can make an introduction thread for their own welcoming.

True, but that still does not solve the problem. The users need to have explained to them specifically what both Dan-Ball and the Dan-Ball Forum are. Not something as simple as "We're a site dedicated to sand-game website". It must be more elaborate if it is to be effective.
Wherever you choose to place this welcoming board so that new users may view it, that is your choice. But please make sure it is the very first thread that visitors and new members look at.

Wow, I didn't even notice. I like the description for the admin. Jumping.... sharp objects.... fire..... it never gets old. That description was actually for Listo.

Yes, Artifact123. Please stop reviving old threads. You will not be given the Well Rounded Badge if any of those posts consist of non-constructive replies to dead threads...

If you have contributing posts, then I'm not stopping you, but if your posts are useless things that serve to do nothing but revive dead threads, then that's discouraged...
