Lev burst into a room with Zexor and... Paradox!? Oddly, Paradox had a empty, glassy look to him. Zexor XI commanded Paradox to fight Lev. Paradox obeyed. "Ohhh, I'm going to hate this. I"m sorry, Paradox." Despite a crazy wave of panic and fear, Lev punched Paradox, pulling his punch a little bit and trying to weaken the thunder so it only knocked Paradox out.

"Heh, is that all you can do?" I wasn't even fazed. "Take... THIS" I unleashed a punch of my own, glowing with energy. It collided with the boxer's glove, resulting in my having a slight upper hand. I continued to struggle with his own punch.

"Ah crap." I amped the thunder to full power. We struggled for a while. I punched at his head with my other glove while we struggled. "What did you do to him, Zexor you son of a B----" I pushed harder.

"Foolish human. I have done nothing." I heard my master speak. Taking the opportunity of my opponent's distraction, I shot a death ray at him while dodging his other hand. Jumping back, I saw that I had missed somehow. "What a pity," I remarked, "that would've made it so much easier for me if you would have just died."

I was pissed. "Well, maybe I can do "nothing" and get him back! Paradox, remember the graveyard?" It probably wouldn't work but hey, it was worth a shot.

We ran in to attack Zexor XI. Leaving Lev to fight with Paradox.
We all flew towards Zexor, Yewa shooting her poisoned arrows, Thor breathing fire on him and I launched Earth projectile at him. To this he just brought up a slab of stone which reflected the arrows, absorbed the heat and crumbled my projectiles. Since stone is harder than earth. As we swoop away while getting to close, he launches three spikes made of stone at us. Yewa dodged, Thor broke it with Calbador and I used Clamaxti to hit it in the middle and sliced it in half.
We then all swooped back and breathed fire which I combined using the fire gem and amplified using th air gem. (to fuel it more air) This melted through the rock he had brought up, but we discovered that he wasn't behind the rock at all and had moved underground to behind us. I instinctively zapped him with a lightning bolt using the lightning gem and Clamaxti to direct it.
He neutralized it by bringing up a stone spike to absorb it while he flies around it breathing his fire on us. I then decided it would be the prefect time to test out the death gem on him. I fired a small beam of death, much weaker than paradox's but the more practice I get the better. Luckily for me it zapped a the rope holding a chandelier above where Zexor XI was flying. He deftly avoided it and bashed it with a stone pillar to come flying towards us.
Thor took a swing at the projectile with Calbador and exploded it.
This was going to be a tough fight...

I look at Lev and say, "Hey, that might be a good idea, Thor and Yewa, fight Zexor XI and keep him busy while I try to bring paradox. We could use him as much as possible in this battle.
I swerved to the side and stood close to Lev and Paradox and charged up the death gem a bit. I then took every opportunity in the fight possible to hit Paradox with a Death Beam. Still much less powerful than one of his own, but hopefully it would bring him back.

Suddenly, I felt a stab of pure energy in the nape of my neck. Everything began to become fuzzy...
Paradox blinked. What had happened? He looked to find Zexor XI fighting Yewa and Thor, with Memzak and Lev standing beside him. He had many questions, but for the time, all he said was, "Well, what are you waiting for? Aren't 'cha gonna go and fight?" Paradox could not help but notice that he sounded a lot like Thor for a minute (OOC: Ignore this, it means nothing. I just felt like doing that.). Giving him somewhat surprised looks, Lev and Memzak simply shrugged and headed back to battle. Paradox followed, rubbing his somehow pained neck.

"Yeah, me too." Lev rushed in to fight Zexor XI. He was simply booted across the room. "OW!" Time for a change of plan, Lev thought. He snuck behind Zexor and grabbed onto his leg, shocking it. "Argh!" Zexor XI attempted to shake him off, and got shocked for his efforts. Lev climbed up Zexor's leg, and got on Zexor's back, continually shocking Zexor with his thunder gloves. He climbed up to Zexor's head and started shocking it. Zexor attempted to crush him, but only succeeded in hitting himself as Lev nimbly dodged around, shocking him. "Stop hitting yourself!" Finally, though, Zexor vigorously brought his own head up, flinging Lev off of it. Lev was caught by Zexor, and flung against the wall. "Ahk.. Oh, crap." Lev slid off of the wall and slumped on the floor, struggling to not fall unconcscious.

Thor seemed to find Lev's attack quite amusing, but what I saw was something different. An opening in which to attack Zexor!
For that time while Zexor was dealing with Lev, I ran up and used the lightning gem to send a massive bolt of lightning directly at Zexor XI. This would be even more effective after Lev's punching spree. As soon as Zexor let go of Lev (by flinging him into a wall) I released all the electrical charge I gathered in one bolt. The bolt moved towards Zexor as fast as light and hit him in the left arm.
It redirected from his arm to the ground and left a crater and scorch mark on the ground... *thud* Zexor's Left arm had been vaporised off.
"Insolent little miscreants! You will DIE!"
He then moved a sphere of earth out of the ground and as it was floating mid-air he shattered it into millions of spikes in all directions. (Except for him)
Lev was not his, Thor destroyed the spikes that came towards him with Calbador and Yewa was behind Zexor. I had managed to bring up an earth-ice shield just in time to stop it from mortally wounding me, but it still managed to get through the shield and leave a deep cut on my chest.
Zexor then didn't even give us me time to think when he created a pillar of stone underneath me that launched me into the air towards him, where he slashed at me with his terrible claws. From this I sustained another 3 cuts on my side. Thankfully they were not too deep. As I flew behind him I used the momentum to make a backwards loop to the side to avoid hitting the wall and then I drew Clamaxti and summoned up as much fire power as possible.
Yewa used this opportunity to back me up with an onslaught of poisoned arrow towards Zexor. As I neared I engulfed myself in flames that coated my body. (which I stopped from burning me by creating a thin air shield around my skin.
When I got even closer I charged lightning through the flame cloak so that it was an electrical inferno.
Contact.
Zexor had brought up a huge stone slab to try and stop me, but my momentum and heat melted me through it and fist made direct contact with his face. (after which I used the explosion gem to amplify my punch.
Zexor went flying back in the opposite direction, with a hefty burn mark on his cheek and a great shock sent through his body. He was angry and determined to end this battle now and not risk any more injuries. He then shook the very foundation of the building in rage and created pillars from the ground and destroyed the very high roof above us. He then created three stone statue versions of himself, each controlled by his mind.
"Now lets even the odds."
He sent one statue to fight Yewa, one to fight Thor, one to fight Paradox and the real him to fight me.
" Guys don't give up, they are just made of stone. As soon as we kill the real one the stone ones will collapse. Everyone focus and attacking Zexor and avoiding the stone one's attacks. " I said.
"Easier said than done." Yewa replied.
Heh, this is getting intense...

How about this, you tire out a easily if you use it a lot. Some bigger creatures are more resistant to it.... Oh and the stone statue that is fighting you is not technically alive, so you can't kill it with a beam The battle rages on. as we all exchange blows with our opponents...

The battle is begining to wear everyone out. We destroyed all the stone statues but, Thor tripped and was hit in the back of the head and Yewa stayed behind to heal him. Lev was also out of the picture.
It was only Paradox, Zexor XI and I.
"Zexor, you can see where this is going now. We have defeated everything you have thrown at us so far. Why don't you just give up now?" I said to Zexor XI.
"Never, I shall never give up to the likes of you!"
...and so the battle raged on... ...Until Zexor XI was panting from exhaustion. It helped a lot that both Paradox and I were using the Death energy from around us to keep our stamina.
I then walked up to Zexor and slashed at his leg with Clamaxti, taking it clear off. (He didn't even have the energy to try and block it) The dragon toppled and fell on the ground. While he was on the ground I walked up to him. I then sustained up in place with Earth slabs that kept him in place and brought his head eye to eye with mine.
"You have been defeated. Now tell me, which planet is Zexor X on and how do all the Zexor's travel from planet to planet?"
In a greatly diminished voice her replied...
"Zexor X, the next Zexor above me is on the planet of Gauron. The way we travel from planet to planet is by interstellar gates, or controlled rifts that have been opened by the one with the RiftRipper Gem. There is on here on this planet too. It is well hidden. Go to North until you reach a giant water fall. Go through the falls into a cave system and then go left, right and left again. Beware of the traps and if you survive you'll find the portal to Gauron. I've already sent out a huge mental wave out into space, so by the time you get there Zexor X shall be ready for you. Hehehehe, even if you beat me.... you can never kill Zexor X...... Especially when he is prepared... Heheheheheh, hahahahaha! Even when you win you loose! HAHAHAHAHA-" His laugh was cut short as I decapitated his head from his neck and then released the Earth slabs.
I walked up to the head and bent down and picked it up. I propped it on a rock and then used a knife to carve out the three gems in his head. Emotion Control, Mind Control and the Stone gems were now mine. I cleaned them off in some water and added them to the ring. I felt a small surge of power as the rings capacity increased. Even though I have the gems, it will take me a long time to master them to the level that Zexor XI did.
I tried testing the Emotion Control out and to my surprise I felt a bit more relieved. Eventually I might be able to use it to make other people feel better too. I'll be sure to test out all the three gems capabilities a bit later once we reach a suitable location, but for now we must all get together and go to the closest settlement to get Thor fixed up and to restock on supplies. After all, we were all starving after this battle. (not including Paradox)
Yewa managed to get Thor semi-conscious again and got him aware enough to support his own weight while flying. (although still needing Yewa to help him keep balance and know where to fly. I put lev on my back and tied him down and Paradox flew along side us, being able to fly anyways. (although Yewa's back was always open if he needed a break)
This has been a successful day... ...and so our adventure continues....

After the battle, I decided to look at my weapons again. It was a fun game, throwing the knife, spinning, until it came back, and I grabbed it. In fact, it was addicting. Until I nearly decapitated Lev. "Hey, Memzak, what do you think might this staff be able to do?"

We had not reached a settlement yet but we landed in a nice forest clearing where we made camp. Lev was coming around and Thor was getting even better. Thanks to Yewa's healing potions.
Paradox then asks me what he thinks the staff is able to do.... After nearly decapitating Lev with his knife. (to be honest I also found his knife fun...)
"Well to be honest I can't really tell what it is bound to with my binding gem.... Its shrouded in mystery to me... Maybe we should go into the clearing and test it out by you focusing energy into it and aiming for a target?"

"Argh... That hurt... I'm gonna need a better weapon." To pass the time, I glared at Paradox for a little while for almost decapitating me. Then I asked Memzak if he could enchant my gloves with fire.

(OOC: Memzak, do you mind if I either swap or gain an element? I feel that Death is and should be a sort of last-resort power mainly used for restorative properties anyways. If you don't mind, what do you think I should choose?)
"First, let's see the book." Paradox takes out the strange tome, revealing the blank, silvery pages. "What do you make of them?"

"Hmmm, this looks interesting... There doesn't seem to be any writing on it.... or is there?" I said.
I felt the pages.... Heh, like he said Liquid Metal. I can feel a great power in it but I can't get past it's barriers. It keeps blocking me out. Perhaps its sensitive to whose using it...
"Hey Paradox, why don't you try channeling some of your energy into it?" I said.

(OOC: Well, I'd like to know the properties of the Darkness element. And I'm having a second character, by the way.)
"Okay," I said, "I'll try. But I doubt it's going to do anything." I sent some of the energy around me into the book, but nothing happened. I tried again, still, nothing. Suddenly, I heard someone say, "Need some help?" I froze. Not him. Oh God, not him. I slowly turned around to face my older brother.

Properties of darkness are pretty much power over shadows. Stealth in shadows and possibly materializing shadows into temporary objects. (EG, you are pressed up against a shadowed wall, you bend the shadow into a spike and stab your opponent)
It only works when you are near shadows though... As for a second character I say go ahead! ;D "You have an older brother? You never mentioned him..." I said.
I examined him and determined weather he would be a threat or not. Hmmm...
"Paradox, would you mind introducing me to him?" I said.
Paradox was so frozen in shock that it took a minute or two to compose himself. Then, he said, "Memzak, meet Warp, my older brother." he took a moment to glare at said brother, but continued, "He took on the traits of our mother, Life and Light, so he's pretty much the exact opposite of me." "Yup," Warp said, "That's me."
(OOC: I now take a moment to describe Warp. He has silvery-white hair down to his shoulders, and wears a flowing white-and-blue cloak/robe. His eyes are a deep blue. Complexion is light. He, as the exact opposite of Paradox, is modest, cheerful, literal (not sarcastic), and has a good sense of morals.)

I then thought this could help us.... the only way for there to be a life and light powered person is if there is an elemental on this planet.
"We shall not leave this planet yet. There is still something I'd like to find before leaving. Warp may be of help here. Warp, would you like to join my team?"
