Lev angrily punched with his Steel Fists, which had the Boss's Car- Wait a miiinnuttee. Lev took a Red stone (level 4) of his and replaced the Boss'c Card with it. "How do you like THAT?" Lev threw a rock at temporarily9.

Paradox struggled with the mass of gelatinous blobs that refused to let him go on their long journey to who-knows-where. "Argh!" he yelled, "Get off of me!". This was rather different compared to his normal, composed self, but he couldn't be like that when he was quite possibly fighting for his life. Not that he was really fighting, seeing as his arms and legs were entombed inside of the disfigured goo-masses. Giving up, he sighed. "At least it could be worse, in this situation, if the blobs had human urges. Fortunately for me, they don't." But he decided to stop thinking about that. Shuddering, he went on to contemplate where they were going. Perhaps Hawaii. Probably not. But a Sniper can dream, can't he? Ah, well. Where else? Maybe to a top-secret cave contained in a giant, ancient pyramid, home to an elite race? Even less likely.
Unfortunately, he was right. Sometimes, Paradox really hated being right. He found himself in a dark, poorly-lit room, with only a single, dull lightbulb to illuminate the area. His Sniper's eye twitched, as it always did with bad conditions. He looked around. In the cave was a poorly, lit desk (twitch), a small, dark bathroom (twitch), and a foamy chair. Sitting down, the Sniper contemplated soberly the constant status-quo of him being the "damsel-in-distress" of the group, all the time. Sighing, he fell back asleep.
THAT was the BEST POST in this game.

A stickman from the castle gate offers to throw some Onigiri in Paradox's cell to heal him since his last battle, but only at the price of Paradox's weapons. He is accompanied by a Nonja translator.
After making the guard swear upon the Castle Boss that he would not damage or dispose of his weapons, nor did he poison the food, Paradox handed the Stickman his weapons. Apparently, the food came with an extra: a little pet Goo, called a "Gummy". Absolutely harmless. It was white and grey, with a pink heart on its back. This one was named Companion Blob.
Lev starts yelling at Tempy9. "You cold-hearted... Evil... How could I EVER have trusted you? AARRGHH!" His attention diverted, Lev was hammered by a red arrow, and fell unconscious.

T9: Excellent. Castle Boss, stop attacking him. Slimes, drag his head to the pyramid, remove his inventory, and give him some coins and Onigiri to revive him. I have... Ah, put me down now and run. Except you, I'm afraid I need to kill you for awhile. Castle Boss, please despawn and drop that Boss card again, we'll need it."
*T9 runs into Smoky, killing the last slime*
T9: "Hey, Smoky. I think I got the last of 'em. Do you think we should go back to the shop, ask around, see if we can find the other two? I found this boss card on the ground, I think Lev found it."
Paradox stared as Lev was sent into his cell. What was he doing here? The boy seemed exhausted, at least, until he had some food and water. Then, he seemed furious, sputtering incoherent nonsense, whilst Paradox tried to calm him and have him tell him why he's so angry. When he could finally make out some of what Lev had said ("Nonja...Traitor...Disgraceful...How could I have been so foolish... Trust...Betrayed"), he realized what he was trying to say. Honestly, he wasn't surprised; Temporarily9 had been too suspicious a figure to fully trust him, unless you were some blithering idiot who solved problems with his fists and were rather naive *cough*.
After finally managing to calm Lev down to a civil tongue, Paradox showed him around, albeit not much to show around, and introduced him to Companion Gummi, who he had decided to name Squish, endearingly. "so, not the best place, but not the worst. What do you want to do?"

NOTE: Continues from last post, explains why Smoky had mysteriously disappeared (when we all know that I was distracted)
*Smoky chased a motherblob, firing fireballs at it. Soon, after he killed it, he fell into a hole. That was rather annoying. Smoky blasted out an exit with Explosion[/i] which was curiously enough, behind a bush. Smoky climbed out, and saw...
Lev screaming at Tempy, while being attacked by a Castle Boss. And getting knocked out.
Smoky watched dumbfoundingly as Tempy ordered the slimes to take Lev's body to the pyramid, but fell into another hole quickly. Which was a good thing, as the slimes, which managed not to fall into the hole, slimed across.
Smoky blasted himself out again, after the slimes had left, (using the knockback ability to fly up), and fell by the hole.
The last slime was next to him.
And was killed by Tempy.*[/i]
OOC: Now we know what has happened.
Smoky (snarling): Don't you know?
*Smoky launched a Super Fire V with all the patterns and an Explosion pattern to blast Tempy into the hole Smoky had just fallen in, with fire around it. Smoky then towards the pyramid, launching Explosions and Superfire balls behind him. He realizes that he is the last member of the team who can save them. Smoky wishes that he wasn't so tired.*

T9: Ah, dangit. You saw it all. Slimes, you can come out now. Take me to the pyramid, and beef up the defenses. See if you can sneak up behind him and get the boss card in his bag. Get me to the pyramid as quickly as possible. He can't possibly break into it, not with our numbers. See if you can call in the SM shrine boss and the bosses of the deserts. Also, we should lock the door. He'll need to beat the next desert stage before he can even approach our pyramid. The toughest part for him should be finding a way in. Hopefully he doesn't bother warning the council.
Lev woke up in a cell, with Paradox, with his weapons gone. "Aaargh! Temporarily9 was a traitor! A TRAITOR!" Lev ran around the room yelling about what just happened.

As Lev ranted on and on repeatedly, Paradox began to absentmindedly bounce Squish up and down. The little blob squealed with delight at this (think: cute), as he went faster and faster up and down, until he became a white blur (think: flubber). Paradox didn't notice, at least, until he accidentally lost control and Squish went bouncing all around. He even made dents in the walls. Soon, the blur of a blob met the cell wall. They did not agree. All of a sudden, the door was burst into pieces. Fortunately, it also slowed down Squish enough to make a grab for him. Paradox stared dumbfound at the now open chance of escape.

"Traitor-" Lev looked up. "Wait a minute!" Lev punched one of the guards in the face, without a glove, then proceeded to trip the guard and throw him into another guard. "THIS," he said to Paradox, "is why I skipped two years." Dodging an attack by a stickman, he rolled under a stickman and threw it to the ground. He rubbed his fist in pain then proceeded to judo flip another stickman.

*Smoky stopped running for a second, looking at the scene in front of him. He groaned, and used Explosion to make himself fly. (The knock-back works on everyone) Smoky continued flying towards the pyramid, launching Super Fire V+2 against random mobs on the ground. He also memorized another bit of pattern. Smoky tried not to think of how Paradox and Lev were doing. Hopefully, they weren't dead or tortured. Unfortunately, his dad received both. But now, Smoky had to concentrate on saving the two.*

Temporarily9 looks in interest at his cards, and slips a Drain Card into one basic glove and one into a basic whatever-Paradox-uses. He slips them into the fight, and the stickmen 'drop' them.
Lev fights on, unaware of the gloves until the area is cleared enough. "Weird, a glove. But Stickmen don't drop gloves. Hmm. Whatever." *puts on gloves, and immediately begins to feel weak* "Auughh! Trapped!" Lev tries to remove his gloves but fails, and sinks to the ground.

Temporarily9 casually sits with a Shuriken in his hand. Two, in fact.
One was a poison-type shuriken. It had a Catapult's Card 4. The other was a fire-type shuriken, and it had Quick's Card 4. The other compo on both Shurikens was taken up by a "Suck Card 4".
As Lev grew weaker, Temporarily9 began to grow stronger. He began to grow and darken, his head turning grey and a face appearing. His body darkened as well, changing to a brown color.
T9: *evil laugh of choice here. Something that could echo around the pyramid and even be heard faintly from where Smoky is.*
T9: Stickmen, drag him off to a small dark cell somewhere with no windows. Drop gritches (opening street walkers) in one by one. Give him onigiri when needed. Just make sure he suffers and is drained to level one again. Then, take the glove with the drain card and replace it with a glove with an iron medal four and some high-EXP enemies for awhile. Throw in some onigiri if he needs it, just throw in the best. When he is at level twenty, stop feeding him. When he dies, replace his glove with the drain card glove and repeat the process.
When I'm done, he'll be an involuntary battery for my power.
As for Paradox, force that weapon onto him if you have to, but I want -- nay, need! -- his power. If you catch him, do the same with another cell.
Also, give my good friend the Desert 6 boss another Drain Card to 'drop' upon his death.
Paradox was running as fast as he could. He could faintly hear the guards' footsteps behind him, but they were getting louder, and fast. He looked around for a hiding spot in the corridors, but couldn't find anything. Then, he heard a squish from above. Looking up, he was startled to see Squish on the ceiling, gesturing, in the best way a Blob could, to come up. Paradox reached for the tendril of goo hanging down, but he couldn't reach. Just as the guards were about to turn around the corner, Paradox managed to grab on enough to be pulled upwards and stick to the Gummi. Fortunately, being a non-melee Ranger had its advantages; he was light enough for the small Squish to manage to hold up. He doubted Squish could hold Lev, or even Smoky, especially not together.
He waited for the guards to pass. As soon as they did, Paradox hopped down and began to run down the nearest hallway, as he had been doing. As he thought of where to go, he suddenly tripped over Squish and had to lean on the closest wall for support. Suddenly, the brick pushed in, and a doorway appeared amongst the bricks. Looking inside, he found that it had enough supplies in it to last for quite a long time. Hurrying his blobby friend in, Paradox walked in also, and shut the door. The bricks sealed together again accordingly.
Paradox looked around the room. It felt cozy enough, with a plush-beanie chair, a computer, and a massive hoard of Onigiri. Sitting down in said plush chair, Paradox hugged Squish reassuringly. But it was more so for himself. "What are we gonna do now?" He rhetoricaly questioned his only real friend.

Temporarily9: I command the Opening Street creatures to drop drain cards. If we can't drain a few high-leveled rangers, we can drain a lot of newbies... What's this about morals? Who cares?
Lev screamed as they dragged him away. He found himself in a dark room, but with his energy restored, basic gloves on his hands, and a Green Smiley Walker dropped down. Lev easily killed it in one punch due to his high STR (although he mostly has points in DEX). He also did so with the other gritches. Two hours later, he was still going strong, with only slight wounds. (Bit more of a challenge is needed here. Come on, Lev is a high level character.)

I'm not sure you know what the drain card does. It sucks the power from someone and siphons it into me. That is, the levels... Think of it as a level-down for you and a level-up for me. So, yeah. Hence the leveling up.
