Preparations for the attack on the HQ.

"Thanks Fireball!" I said.

The SR legion was getting closer to us, the wall has already fallen and they are attacking and pushing towards us. We needed a way to destroy the dome and unfortunately the only one among us who know how to is Artifact123.

"Arty,do you have any bombs on you?We need to destroy this dome before the Sr legion gets to us."

[~Memzak~]

"Um... You might be a new commander Fireball, but surely you know that Lev's legion is on our side?" I said with a slight giggle.

"...but you are correct, we do need to get this dome down. I just received word that a Cytronian scout found a possible entrance, only big enough for one. I'm going to have to try and get in from there." I said as I grabbed a couple bombs.

I sprinted off towards where the cytronian scout was. When I arrived I noticed it was a single ventilation shaft. I threw a frag grenade (courtesy of Artifacts Research) up and blew a hole big enough for me and then flew in with my jet boots.

As I was in I took out my sticky bombs, bombs that attach to a surface and then remain there waiting for remote detonation. It could take a while to set them all up in strategic structural positions.

"Memzak hurry get out of there!The place is going to blow the pheniox army set bombs inside and are going to detonate!*Jetpacks in through the hole memzak blew up(at top speed).Finnaily taking memzak and the detonater out I went to an area where arty met up with us.*"Memzak,could you do the honors?"*Gives memzak detonater*

"I didn't manage to finish placing all the sticky bombs inside in time before Fireball pulled me out, (thanks) but what I did place should weaken it enough for us to destroy it from the outside too." I said.


I pressed the button and watched the whole dome shimmer and move and some cracks appearing on the surface too.

"It might not look like much, but the inside is much weaker now and it shall be easy to destroy. ONWARD!" I said as I took a rocket launcher and started firing after a couple rounds others joined in. In a couple of minutes of constant fire the dome should be weakened enough to collapse from a well aimed shot at the top of the dome.

"Clamaxti" I said as I summoned my sword and ran up to the dome and flew to the top of it. I awaited for the go ahead from the ground troops before I can use Clamaxti to hit a well aimed shot at the top.

"I brought along a little fire power of my own memzak.'I said in a huff(gets rocket launcher off of back)*loads*Throws up to memzak*'use that to fend off the phinoxes coming from the other direction.We will catch up to you."

"Thanks" I said.

I grabbed the rocket launcher on my way up to the top of the dome, by jove he was right, there were many phoenix troops on the other side of the dome making their way to our main force. I used the rocket launcher to shoot down groups of the enemies while waiting for the go ahead from the main forces.

As we regroup and run up the hill to catch up with memzak,we steal more guns and ammo from the dead phenioxes.When we get up there,we are fully loaded and with high firepower."FIRE"I say as I unload 13 bullets a second."We need More fire power!There are too many!"(Suddenly has an idea)"Memzak call in an air strike."

"Aw, but I wanted to use clamaxti. Although I agree an air strike would be better with our newly formed air force." I said. Fireball and I slid down the dome to the side with our army on it and I ordered them to retreat as we are calling in an air strike.

"Call it in now." I said over the communications.

They said they'd be there in a couple minutes. We went back from the dome and fought our way back to the main army. (the many many cytronians and the SR legion) The weren't that far away. I told them to steadily be pushed back, to give the phoenix army false hope. (for us to crush)

I then heard the sound of a jet, it was our planes! I cheered along with the rest of the army as we saw the dome being blasted by the planes and eventually collapsing. All we had to do was eliminate all the rogue Phoenix soldiers and rebuild the walls and claim this outpost as our own.

The possibility it was removed is miniscule.

Eltoneyes life is gone. Bled to the death in HQ.

He transmitted a basic pulse before he died. The location of his death (HQ) was given to Clockwork Legion Scouts near the area. The entire Clockwork Legion is marching to the area right now. The goal is to repossess Elton's Body.

Okay, but how exactly did you send a signal? Wouldn't that kinda be skipping the point of the entire war, cutting right to the HQ? Seems a little godmoddy to me, but it's up to Memzak whether or not he wants to skip the war.

We are not skipping the war, we are fighting as usual. We don't know where the main HQ is, the CL didn't give it to us. The CL will also perish at the main HQ if they attack it head on. That place has millions and millions of troops and personnel as well as being the best built of all the phoenix army's building and having the highest tech.

I say it isn't a godmod unless they magically destroy the whole base or attack it and defeat millions at odds of 200 to 1. Oh yea, while they are there I hope they manage to get the Athena Project. A good 2.5K DBs was spent making that armor.

I'm not talking about that. The battle was fine. I'm talking about Elton basically saying he just gave you the location of the HQ.

I didn't give him the location, The CL, is obligated that when the Arch Executor (High Commander of CL) is dead, the division loses ties with MA temporarily to go retreive the body.

We are going to try a stealth halo. We'll be sending only masterminds. About 4 of them. We are going to set a ring around the base with forces. The forces will be far off as well.

Ah, I thought you had told all of the MA.

Without Elton, the CL can't do anything with MA. Only Memzak can command them to fight. That's about it until we either get a new arch exectuor or eltoneyes is still possibly alive.

And I think that this agreement is perfectly reasonable. He's their boss, they deserve to be allowed to retrieve the body at least.

Entrance

"Let's get this over with, get your camo mode triggered and jump out of the plane. No support paras either. Do it right or your falling.", said Cyber. All 4 of them lined up on the plain. The wind blew past the plain. It was cold...

Emni was smoking a cigar. "Hey, put that out.", said Omni. Emni stared at him through his mask. But the mask had large buggy eyes and he did not turn his head. It simply looked as if he ignored him. Which he did. "Put it out!" Omni said sternly. Eltain turned his head from deep thought and came to the present "Emni..." Emni through the cigar on the ground in a smooth swipe. And stomped it out.

"Put on your masks. The chamber will now go through a rapid decompression.

Emni slid down his mask guard and hooked his air supply.

Everyone else had the masks on, the room rapidly decompressed.

"Well, let's get going...", they said in unison. The door in the back of the plane opened faster than it seemed. And they got to the back of the plane. Everyone was nervous. Would they survive this trip? Would they yield results...

It was too much to hope for.

Cyber was first, he took his jump from the edge. No fear, only moxie and will. He was about 300 feet down when Emni ran and jumped out.

"This couldn't be funner", Emni provoked Omni. "We're in negative temperatures and we're wearing robes. I bet it feels like the ninth circle of hell." "Then it's fantastic I have a friend next to me in hard times" Emni kept fooling around.

Omni jumped off 3rd. His jump was from the end and it looked clumsy. But effective, he had perfect form save the takeoff. Nervous maybe?

Eltain was last, and his jump wasn't perfect, far from it, he made it in the air regardless.

Cyber was on the chat network, "Here's the plan, from our current position, the HQ is 20 Clicks away. We will use backboosters to zoom close and into the compound. If any of us get caught, we won't be coming back home to those pretty wives of ours..."

Omni was the one to ask him "20 Clicks... that's not a walking distance in these temperatures... How powerful are these boosters?"

The last part was a bit low tone. As if scolding Cyber, his superior.

Cyber replied, "No idea, but I'm willing to try them out. That is, of course, out of the fear of freezing after extended exposure to this weather...". "Is it warm in the compound?". "I also don't know this, honestly, all we got is basic area maps. I know where the prison compound is in 200 by 200 foot sectors."

"We're going to freeze...", replied Eltain.

They continued down to the Parachute level.

Cyber announced rather nervously...
"Alright, put em out there folks, let's do this by the books. No mistakes..."

Cyber and Emni put their Parachutes out rather fast. Omni was nervous, he did it about 3 seconds later. It wouldn't have any effect on the landing though.

Eltain had it a bit different... "Alright..." Eltain reached for his string. In the frigid cold, it pulled out and snapped... At first, his thought was ' What is this suit made of...', then the thought was 'No string, no parachute.

He continued to fall for about 12 seconds... Cyber was alert and frantic, "What happened E1, where is your parachute!". "My chute is gone," Eltain replied slowly and low... almost a whisper. Then it really sunk in... "My chute is gone, SHIT MY Belgium-ing CHUTE IS GONE!"

Eltain fell, he fell. His communications broke and he was left something worse than a sitting duck...

Eltain landed not in water. But in soft, thick snow. About 12 feet deep. He was lucky. Then again, he was still hurt.

Cyber was still yelling in the intercom before Omni and Emni consoled him. "That was a serious fall, he's dead if he hit ice. And the boosters didn't take him far either. Probably just froze if he hit water too." "Do you see that in the distance?" "What is that"

This was just a segment of their conversation, what they saw was a plane. A plane in the distance. Obviously seeing the flash of light. He attempted to turn his boosters on wrong...

Always keep your head. Turn on the boosters. We're already extremely low as it is. Make sure you aim them downwards at an angle.

They felt their spine crack as they moved...

Eventually they ended right above the compound. The boosters were turned off and they slipped right into the top of a warehouse. The compound went off as far as the eye could see. Which wasn't far. considering it was night time. In the Artic. You couldn't see 200 feet out atleast. They couldn't even see the drop off of the warehouse.

"Now stand still and turn on stealth step. I'm going to cut the roof."
Cyber quickly bent his knees and cut the roof with a flame. The others wanted to run at him and dive. Just from the heat. They were now freezing cold. Once the circle was taken off they jumped in without command. They took out their handguns as they went in. Even the commander didn't think twice.

"Alright, let's go!" Cyber said

They continued down the corridor in one piece for sometime. It seemed the warehouse was a ghost town most of the time. The corridor was lit a dull orange and was white marble on all sides. It went on as far as the eye could see...

"It's an impressive build..." Emni said in Awe.

"Yea..."

Let's break and chill for a moment...

They continued in this fashion for some time. After a while Emni could suppress his ignorance no longer. "I wonder if this is imitation marble. There is so much of it!"

To which the others could only chuckle at.

After about 35 Minutes Cyber stopped... "Wait, what is that?"

In the distance on the side of the hall was a window.

They moved forward slowly. Once they noticed it was a window they looked through it. Inside to their horror were rows and rows of Weapons of Mass Destruction. "Maybe this hall has been going slightly downwards for a while now... they usually store these things underground"

"We've been moving for 40 minutes at a standard walking pace of 2 miles per hour..." , calculated Emni

"That's not possible..., we must've hit a hallway. Not an entire warehouse. Nothing could be that large...", retorted Cyber.

"We might never know..."

"Maybe..."

If the hall leads underground that might be where they are storing elton. They know we know that they have our Arch Executor and High Commander. And they know we will come and get him. The last thing they want us to have is a sporting chance. An underground area would be the perfect place...

This was just a segment of the thoughts rolling in Cyber's head...

"You know what I'm thinking?

"Yeah, let's keep walking..."

After a while, with a chuckle, Cyber said "Why are we walking at a comfortable pace with our weapons down?"

Emni said, with a straight and serious face (No humor), "Sir, it is because it is warm and toasty, Sir!"

Of course, no soldier in their right mind would use the word "toasty" next to a superior, yet there was truth in his words. And the commando was agreeing silently.

Bomb? It's not our bomb, its the phoenix military's bomb. They are under cover deep in their grounds. You are actually not involved at all in the retreival of Elton's body. Only the CL is. We aren't even getting teh co-ordinates until they have retrieved his body.

"Well, now what...", said Cyber. After a long trot through the hallway. They continued going down into a maze of sorts. It was tall, about 10 feet. And it was a maze. They could tell from the entrance. Several halls splitting off and going into dead ends. This could be bad...

"Don't split up, there might be enemies, take out your weapons!", Cyber was now anxious. They have spent untold amounts of time walking in a hallway, already wasting time, but the cold was off his mind now. Now was the time for action!

Cyber did a fast walk (Rifle up) to the first turn, he hand signal'd Emni to take a forward scout and Omni to take a back scout. He did a simple 'check and see' routine that takes the least time if you aren't guessing randomly. He is going from absolute right path to left in his mind. When he hit a T section. Emni and Omni would burst guard into both directions and he would from from behind. He would then take the right path. Even on his wrist monitor he was viewing the layout of the maze.

This continued for about 15 minutes. The maze was proving extremely difficult... The walls weren't all metal. In fact the metal areas were only metal plated. An idea ran in his head.

He signal'd Omni the idea and he quickly took out a vial. He handed it to Omni and he sprayed it in a large area of the wall. From the topmost area he could reach. The acid spread far. The stone slowly but surely was being eaten away but what they found next was a surprise to the lower ranks. "Just as a thought!", said Cyber. "I noticed these halls on my monitor had a thin area going through them. Not as wide as these halls so I concluded they couldn't be maze hallways. Lest I'd mess myself up. I concluded that it would be wasteful to fill these thin areas with cement. Which is against Phoenix's usual morals. Efficient my ass. Yet I could only hope. This maze was giving me a headache...".

Yet when Cyber stepped inside the white marble room that was through the stone he stopped. It was a simple cubic area. White marble plated.

"This can't be right..."

After a few seconds he was in his deep thought.

'A complete cubic white room, cube being a support structure? No, that isn't strong enough. Especially due to squares being weaker support structures than triangles. What else... There are drains on each face. A drain area? Not possible, why would there be drains on the sides...

After a while he said softly to Emni...

"Hand me the hook..."

"That's what I was thinking sir. We go for the top. We could climb with a rope, the cube isn't that bi-"

"We're going for the top drain, give me the hoo-"

And before he finished something unexpected happened, Omni fired off shots. Once they heard it took them about 0.8 seconds to get out of the cube, rifle up and fire. Emni supported Omni, and Cyber bent around the corner of the opposite direction. Cyber found it was a dead end and turned around.

They were squeezing out their Magazines like toothpaste bottles at this point. And quickly reloading.

What they saw were men of course. What was surprising is that when they died they were burnt away.

"Possible information security?" Cyber supplied. "I would think they would just send more troops...", but then Cyber said.... "If they know we're hear. Then everyone knows we're here... Fox knows we're here.

This wasn't a problem to the standard mastermind of course. After about 6 downed men. It wasn't bad. Emni was shot in the knee, but he had armor there. Just like any mastermind. Thin, painful to get hit there armor... but armor regardless. "Shit my knee hurts..."

The men burned away... "Wait, there were no cameras on our way in the maze, OR in the hall..." "Well, how would they expect for someone to get in. Most of the year is slightly clearer than this. This is a blizzard!".

Then Cyber was on Adrenaline. "Get the hook", it took all of 2 seconds for Emni to instinctively get the hook and throw it over to Cyber. Cyber threw it in the air. Squeezed the rope, then then the hook gave a burst of fire. And it flung itself into a wall...

Emni and Omni whispered silently... "Memzak..."

"Too much eh? Not now, we need it" Cyber said.

"Now, after me" Cyber then hoisted himself up on the rope and flung up to the drain, he pulled it off with ease. "Loose drain..." He put his legs in first and went like a spring into the area beyond. Emni and Omni were next. All perfect form. " Hmm...", Cyber wasn't used to thinking much thought his lower subordinates... Cyber quickly fast walked (Rifle up) up the long hall and then he reached what looked like a large octagon with branching sides. He went to the lone hall that went down...

At this point they were reminded of the warehouse hall that they walked down to begin with...

"What a pain..."

Anyways, we'll add all these posts together elton and post it in a separate thread once the RP is complete. I'll be part of our history. Meh... perhaps we can build a Memzakian Library at West Outpost A and fill it with spoiler books and each one has a part of our history.

(The taking of west outpost A, defense of west outpost A, taking of west outpost B, the forming of the Memzakian Airforce, The rescue of Pie and the Retrival of Elton)

Good news and Bad news, Good news first!

"Oi, come on, it's not ALL that bad. I know our general area in my head. We should be under either... the center of the complex... or in the west wing. The prison compound or the strongest possible point in the fortress...", Cyber seemed happy about this news he just announced...

"Elton could be on the other end of this hall!", Emni Exclaimed. And with that, they sprinted down the hall for what could be the most energetic sprint they have experienced.

Indeed, Adrenaline was fast pumping in their veins. Yet, something else powered them. They willed themselves down the hall. Something other men that had no relationship with Elton, or hatred for the Phoenix, could pull off.

The hall was marble white like the first. It was smaller. This resulted to our heroes hitting their head multiple times on the roof while running downwards. It wasn't a serious incline, but when sprinting that fast. It's important to keep low.

Loyalty...

Courage...

That was all that they needed. They didn't take precautions going into this next room. They were prepared regardless.

The took out their knives and inserted them swiftly into the necks of their enemies around the corner. Emni was enraged! He quickly threw his rifle over 5 yards at his enemies head. This dazed him from his firing stance. Emni sawed his neck apart with the knife!

Omni started firing fast and accurate! His shots were numbers at 3 on every burst. He only wasted 3 shots on each enemy in the room he could find with his eye.

It was all he needed.

Cyber got one kill, perhaps the most glorious of the day? He threw his knife in the air. Ripped one of the higher up's throat's in a bloody mess.

The entire attack took less than thirty seconds. And what happened most was knife attacks to the neck.

"It is most effective idn't it", Emni responded playfully and mispronounced a few words on purpose to sound like a druggie. "You high on life?"

Then their attention was directed to the center of the room. "That's his facial structure alright..." Yet something was missing...

Elton was laying down on his back. Inside some translucent barrier. Plastic Baggie would be a good reference here. His skin was to shreds and ripped off in most places. His eyes were rotting. And his arms were rather thin... So were his legs...

"I don't think death takes place like this...", Cyber said.

It was silence...

"I think the politically correct term is biomort siiirrrrrr-pahahahaHA!", someone in the back corner was left alive. He was obviously in shock. Or maybe he knew he was going to be dead? Well, he was obviously going to be dead.

Emni took all of 3 seconds to shoot him in the head with his handgun without looking. "If what he says is true. Elton isn't truly alive. Yet kept alive via chemicals and hormones... So I guess he's sorta braindead too. His brain stem is dead too... So his body is rotting..."

Well that's just terrible... Everyone thought.

Steps were heard down in the hall. "We have to go...", "Our job was to secure and transport the body. If we cannot succeed this mission then we shouldn't be here. Let's do this. I'll carry the body.
'You'll need me to Cyber..." Omni stepped up and helped Cyber pick up the body.

Emni shot all intruders from a range and they walked. They walked down the hallway. Down from the maze. Down the warehouse. "Eltain should be here now..." "What?" He landed in snow... He broke a leg or two... I can't believe he is coming. At that moment they saw him in the hall...

"H...Hey?", he said it as if he was scared. Which he was. Imagine if he ran into the enemy?

"Hey Eltain... your dad... he..."

The expressions were mixed, but they were all a similar shade of sorrow.

Go on, I'm staying here... He thought...

Eltain spoke up... "Go on ahead. I'm staying here."

Cyber also registered something. "...Sure, alright I'll play along... You guys get out. There should be a boat on the coast. You'll have to swim... Use your jets to get out over the complex. Go easy. The storm should be cleared. All the base inhabitants on the coast side are sleeping..."

Emni and Omni were still curious about Eltain and Cyber. They went out the hole and they jetted over to the coast.

They were standing on the wall. It was ten feet high and the waves were fairly choppy. "This is going to be a cold swim.." Emni stated...

"Yea, we're now one step closer to getting somewhere now that we know the obvious..." Omni was edgy...

'Let's go', Emni dived into the water. After testing the safety of the jump. Omni dived in. The suit protected the dive but the temperature was unblockable. It was futile to attempt to layer against it. "Jesus Christ this water is freezing..." "Brr" This was a segment of the conversation...

"Good think Arch here doesn't need to keep his body warm..."

They found the boat fast. They were the only ones. And it was small. There were instructions on how to escape. Simple enough... "As they went away the fog cleared. You could see for miles and the sheer size of the base was finally unearthed...

There was a gasp of awe. Then of curiosity...

"What is that?"

And they saw a small flash of light... explosions.

And then they saw and understood...
