Actually, we can see smites and exalts in the security log.

True, but it still looks bad if it is low, seeing as that is supposed to represent your...I don't know...umm....respectedness? And anyway, Veers can see who smites/exalts someone on the security log.

Why is is stupid? You want the trolls to go unpunished? And no, we do not have a list of who has what badges, but we can find out whether you earned the badge. Stop being trollbait and be a reasonable member /discussion And when I was staff I swear we had a list. Thought that was at the older forum.

There probably was, and unless it's under the High Staff category, which I can't see, we never recreated it. At least to my knowledge.

We do not have such a list, as we never thought of one and it would likely be neglected and fall out of use quickly...

Not to mention starting it now would be unfair to people with badges.

What about adding karma adding, people may add more than one karma for the reason they are their freind or double exalt for the same thing.

Post by Fringe Pioneer on Jun 3, 2011 21:16:03 GMT
That's still considered karma spamming. One event should only be cause for one karma difference, be it positive or negative.
EDIT: Oh, it seems only smiting was specified. I will fix that now. Thank you for the correction, Shkids.

Can, I have my 3 wanings removed, as I have stopped, double posting, and doing stupid one word post.

Post by Rock on Jun 4, 2011 21:11:34 GMT
But you continue to post with the etiquette of a 3 year old and your posts seldom have any purpose, especially in Please Read, About, Help, and Announcement categories.

"etiquette"? He's not rude.

I think there should be a rule against dumb threads, just to prevent clustering the forum.
|
|
|
Post by Fringe Pioneer on Jun 5, 2011 18:04:22 GMT
Well, that rule has too much potential to be abused by staff who aren't careful. What is to be considered dumb, and what isn't?

Good point, some games may be considered dumb, my zombie game is dumb because that won't happen, or will it...

"etiquette"? He's not rude. Etiquette meaning he types, or at least used to, like a kindergardener. If he manages to continue typing like he passed the third grade for a week, I will remove the warning.

Ummm, so how the how did I get the extra 4%?

Post by Fringe Pioneer on Jun 6, 2011 19:29:45 GMT
This is the wrong place for asking that question, although your warning notes don't indicate what gave you the 4%...

Yeah, its the last one. I told you I'll remove the warning if you keep up your good behavior until Saturday

Do you know what "etiquette" means?
|
|
|
Post by Rock on Jun 7, 2011 2:13:38 GMT
It means the manner in which one conducts themselves. His posting etiquette was horrible, as his posts were often useless and never used correct grammar, to the point where they were almost illegible. I call that poor etiquette. Don't worry, he only has to prove himself for another 4 days.

Which I did, well, can geust double post?
|
|
|
Post by Rock on Jul 14, 2011 16:51:10 GMT
Yes, guests can double post because they cannot edit their posts.
|
|
|
Post by Alonso on Jul 14, 2011 18:45:07 GMT
Oh right, I didn't know that. Sorry.

They are supposed to minimize multi-posting regardless, but merely can't be penalized as much when they do because they can't edit their own posts...

Please excuse my 14 day separated double posts, but I think I have something relatively important to propose. It has come to my attention that two users in particular are attempting to create tribble-bots that come on as anons by literally the thousands in an attempt to lag the chat. Intentional or not, slowing down the chat cannot be permissible. I would like to propose either that only registered bots be permitted on the forum chat, or that a bot owner may not send in more than a reasonable number of bots into the chat. I believe the punishment should be banishment of the human accounts responsible for the influx of tribble-bots for the longer of four hours or no less than the duration of the time it takes to remove/ban the bots...

*cough* Nope.
Anyways, it was not my intention to lag the chat, as you may have mentioned as a possible reason, although I do agree with this idea. Also, I am not exactly sure, but the program may or may not send more than one Bot. I do not know very much about Bots, so I am presuming that you are correct. Nonetheless, I did not consider that there may be lag caused in the application of these Bots. I apologize if there was any at all. Any questions regarding the Bot or Bots themselves should go to Modnaryltnelis on Chat. That is all.

I might be out of topic, but what is a 'criminal' in all the shops? Is it someone who didn't pay for their avatar or something? Its not in the rules and I can't find it anywhere else.

Image Stealing Risk: 50/80% and removal of image or images/shop deletion1. Please do not steal images from peoples' shops. You MUST pay for them unless they are said to be free. People worked hard to create those images. DON'T STEAL!!! Perchance, do you refer to this?
