No, I'm saying that 4chan allows that sort of derogatory terminology. However, even 4chan users (and yes, we do have a large number of them here) can stop insulting every minority group around them when they want to. Basic self-restraint isn't too much to ask for. An insult being 'deserved' does not change the fact that it is an insult.

seriously though, over 90% of our members (the ten percent being people like artifact, spark, qwerty) are completely fine with being called a gay faggot, that rule is really damn dumb and needs change.
we are not a pg-13 forum anymore, get out of that mentality, qwerty.

That's be good, considering many people don't. Ultimately it's pretty easy to follow them; mods warn you if you do something against the rules unless it is obvious that it is so.

Perchance could you disable the autocorrect feature, or perhaps use the backspace and delete keys as necessary before posting? Neither of those should be that difficult, unless whatever device you're using stupidly excluded those keys and setting, and the time it takes to do either of those should not be that terribly long. I believe that it's more important to be understood than it is to be quick, especially when there is no rush to post.
As a matter of fact, depending on whether your autocorrect feature merely displays suggestions that you can override as you type the word, can't you just continue to type the intended word than blindly accept incorrect suggestions?

I don't take issue, and nor (I believe) does Veers. Fox is a maybe. You may not be offended by it, but there ARE people that are highly offended by such language. You have no idea of knowing just how offended they can be. The forum is for everyone, not just a majority of, frankly, straight WASPs. >on the internet >getting offended grow up, please. I'd advise either one of the sides to grow up, with either A): Temporarily9 and everyone else who cries gets angry over the internet because of what somebody says learn that everything here is just a game and deal with it, or B): Nmagane and the other half choose to be the better men and realize that other people have feelings even if it's funny to make them angry. If it's bad enough for a growing forum (QCF) to continue to rise that has chosen to split from DBF, then obviously this needs to be settled here and now. |

I know perfectly well that it's just a forum and nothing to get angry over, but Nmagane and his ilk have no right to go insulting and ridiculing people whenever they want. People DO get offended by their actions, and it's time they learn to respect that. If they want to talk they way they do there are other forums that are more than willing to allow them to do so.

Clearly it was made because you and a side of the DBF community felt that things going on here aren't suitable to your liking. I have a question about the rules: with smite and exalt, what happens if you smite someone like 20 times because you were angry? maybe I just didn't read the rules carefully but I didn't see anything about karma |

You wouldn't be able to smite someone 20 times as a spur-of-the-moment thing as you only get one smite/exalt per hour. However, should that happen, the person could complain to us, we could check the logs, and we would restore that person's karma and place the amount smited/exalted as a smite on the person that did the smiting... so to speak.

I moved it, but it's really not a problem. Thread organization might have been an issue back when people were still making new threads, but nowadays, it's pretty pointless. We mostly keep the boards around for archival reasons.
